Meet the Artist

Pacific Northwest Cabaret Association (PNWCA) is the producing arm of Seattle Cabaret Festival (SCF). Our vision is to create a vibrant cabaret audience and a community of artists by producing Seattle Cabaret Festival.  Established in 2006, PNWCA is an arts collective of vocal performers who are dedicated to promote and to preserve the art of the musical cabaret: storytelling through live music.  Our budget remains humble and yet we continue to give 90% of our ticket sales to the artists. We are a Not-for-Profit Organization and dependent on donor support and grants to continue our work. In 2017, PNWCA joined the umbrella 501c3 arts organization Shunpike.

Arnaldo! (he/him) started as a soloist with the Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) and has performed with SMC in some of the major concert halls in the US, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. In 1995, Arnaldo started a group called Cabaret Q where the “drag chanteuse” persona began. In 1999, Arnaldo! began his solo cabaret shows in Seattle’s Capitol Hill and has since performed his one person cabaret in Portland, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Puerto Vallarta, New York and Manila. Arnaldo! has also collaborated with various directors, choreographers and songwriters in the Seattle area. In 2005, he completed the Cabaret Summer Conference Workshop at Yale University. In 2006,  Arnaldo! started the Pacific Northwest Cabaret Association and continues to organize “Seattle’s March is Cabaret Month” featuring local and visiting artists. 2007 marked Arnaldo!’s New York cabaret debut and in 2008, Arnaldo! was honored with a New York Backstage Bistro Award.  2014 was Arnaldo!’s Manila debut where he received “Most Innovative Concert Artist” in Manila by Gawad Musika. In 2016, Arnaldo! was presented by The Filipino Community of Seattle with a Lifetime Achievement Award for promoting culture & the arts. In 2024, Arnaldo! received the International Examiner Community Voice Award for his work with Pride ASIA and the Seattle cabaret communities.

Angie Louise (she/ her) is a writer-performer best known for her work as the longtime frontwoman and songwriter for Weimar Berlin-inspired rock band The Love Markets (“Irresistible” – Seattle Magazine). Record releases: World of Your Dreams, Beauty Factory, and 2025’s luminous Ship of Light. Angie is also a member of Actors’ Equity with a long list of principal roles at nationally recognized theatres (5th Avenue Theatre, Village, SCT, Ordway, TUTS); the screenwriter and songwriter for two award-winning feature films; and a winner of the Academy of American Poets Prize. “A singer, songwriter and actress with fearsome chops.” – City Arts Magazine. www.angielouise.com  www.thelovemarkets.com

Many years ago, The Sirens of Swing emigrated from their home country of Bleema to America, where swing was born, to learn the secrets of the swing music.  Since then they’ve been driving each other and the citizens of Seattle crazy with their zany blend of lush harmonies, jive rhythms, original arrangements, and hilarious hijinks. The Sirens features three of Seattle’s cabaret luminaries – Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein and Jayne Muirhead – with David Pascal on bass and music direction by John Engerman.

With his unmistakable “crooner” sensibility, Art Anderson (he/him) brings a velvet touch to this special Intiman Cabaret Series featuring Arnaldo! & Friends. His voice — equal parts elegance and enchantment — invites audiences to pause, breathe, and let the world’s noise fall away.  A longtime member of Actors’ Equity, he has spent more than three decades performing in theaters across Seattle and the region, earning a quiet reputation for presence and heart. These days, Art fully embraces the cabaret scene, following the music wherever hearts might need a little encanto.

Bodacious Ladyhood is an award-winning a cappella trio based in the Puget Sound area. They are a rarity in the a cappella community, having sung together for more than 23 years with no member changes or substitutions. They like to say they sing everything from the Andrews Sisters to Weird Al Yankovic. They are known for their tight harmonies and comedy songs. You may have seen Bodacious Ladyhood at a wine walk, or in Leavenworth, Washington, at the holidays, or as part of the Seattle Cabaret Festival. They are excited to be part of this show. Bodacious Ladyhood is three parts harmony, one part comedy, and a whole lot of fun.

Heather Gonio (she/her) is a versatile Seattle-based singer, pianist, and actor. Her diverse career has taken her from the vibrant theater scene of the Pacific Northwest to performing on cruise ships throughout Europe. Whether leading a high-energy cover band or commanding the stage in a theater production, Heather uses music as a medium for storytelling and connection. Known for her ability to inspire and transport an audience, she is thrilled to share her passion for creativity and positivity, with the hope that her performance leaves you with a lifted spirit and a lasting smile.

Faye B Summers (she/her)  reveals her Muse in Life Is a Song. She has spent almost 5 decades acting, singing and dancing on Seattle and national professional stages. Acclaimed for her iconic portrayals of Edith Piaf and Fanny Brice, she is currently focused on a very personal relationship with her audience. Sharing real and imaginary stories and journeys, Faye B calls on her writing and editing background to reassure and hopefully reunite in these troubled times. A powerful vocal force moving smoothly from classical to belt, heartbreak to laughter, she recently received a rare cabaret standing ovation.

Jhasmine Rabara is a vocalist in the Seattle area who always had a love for singing as a child. American jazz standards have heavily influenced her style, and she enjoys bringing her audience back in time when she sings classic tunes.

Mark Rabe (he/him) works as a professional actor/singer/pianist/music-director in the Seattle area (35+ years) in musicals, plays, cabarets, and similar less-than-lucrative pursuits.  Seen on many local stages including:  the annual Seattle Cabaret Festival, SCT, Seattle G&S Society, Key City Public Theatre Port Townsend, 2nd Story Rep, Village Theatre, and the late (RIP) Seattle Civic Light Opera, among others, he has also worked in the orchestra pits of Seattle Rep, ACT Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Reboot Theatre, CLO, and plenty more.  He also tours the country regularly as the pianist for Frank Ferrante’s An Evening With Groucho.
