FAQs
Agile assurance is more immersive, less reliant on documentation, and focuses on ceremonies, roles, and value delivery. Proportionality is crucial. Assurance should fit the project, not the other way around.
It depends on your organisation’s definitions and the size of the project. Smaller projects may only need a charter; larger, riskier ones may require a full business case.
Use internal case studies to show the value of clear business cases. Share real examples where vague cases led to problems and build a case for change using data and lessons learned.
Yes! Integrated assurance strategies help PMOs tailor assurance activities to project needs, identify gaps, and focus on risk-based approaches.
Absolutely. Assurance isn’t done in isolation – it requires ongoing collaboration and negotiation with delivery teams and stakeholders.
Please check our terms and conditions for the timelines for you to be able to change your ticket. We try to take as human approach as possible, but we also do need to ensure that we don't make changes at the last minute due to ticketing and menu finalisation.
We know that sometimes attending a conference can be daunting. So, we place networking tables and will seat you at a lunch table for the purposes of facilitating the conversation. This way you will meet people quicker, and more easily without that awkward initial silence.
No, you will be registered in advance so you can simply use your name when you arrive to get your goodies, name badge, etc.

Yes! You should be able to log FuturePMO as part of your continued development points with any association up to a maximum of six hours.
No. We are proud that FuturePMO is a no sales event. Wellingtone invite close partners to join the fun and get a chance to meet and speak to PMO Practitioners, but we don’t sell space or speaking slots. Even our speakers are briefed up front which ensures that the day is focused on PMO and getting as many Practitioners in the same room!
We want FuturePMO to be a good deal for all our delegates. This pricing structure allows us to be transparent with you, as well help you speak to your organisation about approving the purchase. The earlier they commit, they better the price! As always though, if you are buying a ‘bulk’ of tickets, you can contact us directly for a better group discount price on the full price tickets.
Really easy, that’s why we picked it! It’s just a 5-minute walk from West Brompton Underground Station and less than 30-minutes travel from Central London or Heathrow. The hotel has loads of on-site parking too at £3.50 per hour for non-residents (We did ask if that included a full wash & wax, but apparently not).
FuturePMO has been created by Wellingtone. We are a leading PPM consultancy, working with clients across the UK. We are a commercial organisation but we do not run FuturePMO to make a profit. Ticket revenue does help cover costs but Wellingtone makes significant contributions to ensure our policy commitments of ‘Keeping the ticket price low and making the “wow” factor high!’
We will be giving away some collateral on the day – however it’s all under wraps until the day so you will have to wait!
We do choose the menus to ensure as much diversity in ingredients as possible. Please ensure you tell us upon purchasing your ticket (or well in advance) by responding to the confirmation email and we can make arrangements for the day. We do finalise the menu 4 weeks in advance so as much notice as possible is critical.
If you are adverse to photos or videos that’s fine. Please let us know in advance and we can make arrangements for the day.
If you are supernatural and can be in multiple places at once then go right ahead! However, if not, we practical tips from each session in our delegate booklet, and where permission is granted, the slides will be shared after the fact so that you can enjoy the content you couldn’t get on the day at your leisure.
Getting in a room with your peers is invaluable so we encourage it through industry to industry contact at key points during the day. That way, you can easily find people with similar interests or journey to you. Make sure you don’t rush off after the conference as there will be free drinks and good chat available.
