Processing the payment and getting the insurance certificates was just as easy, not to mention quick, for an agile film crew like ours. Front Row Insurance has always been a go-to for us, from last minute camera rental needs to fairly priced insurance rates. In a world where cameras are cheap and everything else around a production is not, it's nice to see alternative options for independent filmmakers.

I use Front Row Insurance. They are the only company I could find that would insure my gear all over the world. Reasonable rates too. I haven't had to make a claim, but I like the cost ($600 per year for full coverage all over the world, including $2 million in business liability). That's for $50K+ of gear.

He cares deeply that we are covered for our risks, no matter how unusual some of our projects might be. He spends the time needed to fully understand what we are doing and he works directly with the underwriters to ensure that the language in the contracts makes sense in the context of what we need. I trust him completely to help with any new coverage needs we have and to manage claims. Over the course of the time we have worked together, we have always had satisfactory results on both. After a fire completely destroyed the restaurant I was working in, and in which I lost all my substantial gigging set-up, I was able to re-equip myself and get back to work. If I hadn't been insured, I would have lost my gear, and I'd be out of work. Let's hope it never happens to you.
