The marks that matter

Ko te kaitiakitanga kua tuhia ki ngā pakitara

Shed 10, Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland
19 – 21 October

FM Summit Aotearoa returns in 2026 to the vibrant waterfront of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

This year’s theme celebrates the visible and invisible traces of care, connection, and responsibility that define our industry – the marks we leave on the places and people we serve. Fittingly, we’ll gather at a venue that wears its own history proudly.

Our Summit home, Shed 10, is remarkable.

Every dent in Shed 10’s pillars, every scuff on its floors, every faded marking, every message scratched on the walls, tells a story.

Real, authentic stories of the people that breathed history and experiences into this place, from the sprawling roof, to the very foundations.

The beautifully worn surfaces are evidence of lives that were moulded here, and the lives that moulded this place, showing how people and place are inseparable in the stories we tell.

This is real sustainability. A place built to last. A place thousands have passed through, and the generations-long resilience that thrives here. This is a real, living place.

As we gather here for our Summit, we do so in a place that reminds us why what we do matters – and how the marks we leave shape what comes next.
