BIOGRAPHY
Fedele De Santis was born in Hollywood, Florida, the youngest of six children in a warm and close-knit Italian-American family. Raised alongside five siblings, he developed both resilience and a distinct sense of individuality within a household grounded in strong family values. Guided by devoted parents who emphasized love, health, education, and integrity, he was shaped by an environment that balanced warmth with discipline—instilling a character defined by focus, purpose, and a lifelong commitment to wellness.
Educated in all-boys Catholic preparatory schools from kindergarten through high school, Fedele developed a disciplined foundation that shaped his early path. From a young age, he demonstrated exceptional athletic ability, emerging as a standout multi-sport athlete in football, wrestling, and track. His competitive years were defined by numerous championships and statewide recognition, establishing a lasting standard of performance, precision, and excellence.
However, a back injury toward the end of his high school career introduced him to ballet as a form of rehabilitation. What began as physical therapy quickly turned into a passion. His talent flourished, and soon after, he earned a prestigious scholarship to train with the Joffrey Ballet in New York City.
Moving to New York marked a transformative chapter in Fedele’s life, where he evolved from elite athlete to accomplished performer. Immersing himself in the arts, he became a professional classical ballet dancer with the Joffrey Ballet and performed with the New York City Opera and the Stella Adler Theatre Group, while also appearing on Broadway, in commercials, and across film and television. During this time, he was introduced to personal training at the prestigious Excelsior Club—an exclusive, high-end fitness environment that sparked a lasting passion and shaped his future.
Guided by vision and entrepreneurial instinct, he went on to establish his first private training facility in Greenwich Village at 214 Sullivan Street. Serving an elite clientele that included partners from Goldman Sachs, he developed a refined model centered on discretion, precision, and results. Balancing his parallel careers in performance and fitness, he defined a philosophy that seamlessly merged discipline, aesthetics, and personalized service into a singular, elevated experience.

In 1995, Fedele relocated to Los Angeles to continue his work in the performing arts while deepening his involvement in the fitness world. Observing a growing preference for private, in-home training over traditional gyms, he envisioned a more elevated concept—one that merged the intimacy of personal spaces with the sophistication of luxury fitness environments he had experienced in New York, Miami, and beyond. In October 1997, he brought that vision to life with the opening of Fedele De Santis Private Fitness in the West Hollywood–Beverly Hills area, an exclusive, non-membership facility designed for privacy, precision, and results.
Nearly three decades later, the gym stands as one of the longest-operating private personal training facilities in the fitness capital of the world, serving a distinguished clientele of industry leaders across film, media, and entertainment. Known for his highly personalized approach—blending strength training, gymnastics, Pilates, yoga, classical ballet and performance-based conditioning workouts—Fedele has redefined fitness as a bespoke experience tailored to high-performance lifestyles. Expanding his vision beyond training, he has also moved into the design of luxury fitness spaces, private residences, and boutique hotels across Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, and international locations, bringing his signature balance of function, aesthetics, and atmosphere into every space he creates.
Today, Fedele De Santis is recognized as one of Los Angeles’ most respected private trainers. His gym continues to thrive nearly three decades after opening, offering one-on-one sessions that typically run $250 per hour. With a focus on exclusivity, discretion, and results, Fedele has built a legacy that combines artistry, athleticism, and a deep dedication to helping his clients achieve their very best.
