What is a Family Resource Center?
Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are welcoming, community-based spaces that provide families with access to comprehensive prevention, education, and health services. They support all types of families, including birth, blended, kinship, adoptive, and foster families.
FRCs play a vital role in bringing together local residents and community organizations to identify and address concerns related to raising healthy children. Each FRC is uniquely shaped by the community it serves, offering culturally responsive services through multicultural and multilingual staff who reflect the diverse backgrounds of the families they support.
