Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has proven to be an important technology for the automation of manual processes. Hospitals are implementing RPA to respond to the challenging environment that currently exists in health care.

This session will cover the evolution of digital content and how content management tools can bridge the gap to provide timely access, process automation, and efficiency to content across the healthcare enterprise.

Introduction to Data Analytics; Describing Data; and Hypothesis Testing

This presentation will discuss data collection for population-based disease registries in Idaho: cancer; and time sensitive emergencies (trauma, stroke and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction or STEMI). We will also discuss how these data are used in Idaho and nationally to inform public health efforts.

IT Departments are deploying new technologies at a rapid pace. A couple of these are Vendor Neutral Archive and Enterprise Content Management systems. Both of these technologies will affect the HIM IG plans, this presentation will teach the basics of these two platforms. Seth is also credentialed through the American Health Information Management Association and serves within industry associations as well as instructs for industry programs.

We will explore Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for HIM, opportunities to automate tasks, ideas for turning raw data into meaningful information, ideal skill-sets of HIM professionals to accomplish data analytics tasks, and how HIM leaders can be data experts.
