Guests

The dedicated and talented staff of the East Hampton Golf Club is committed to providing members and their guests with a golf, dining and clubhouse experience that is truly exceptional.

The Club encourages members to invite guests and the staff works diligently to make them feel as if they were at their home course. Our reputation for hospitality is unmatched!

  • Golf Cart Policy
    • From its inception, East Hampton Golf Course was thoughtfully designed as a walking-only course. Taking advantage of the property’s gentle terrain and ample acreage, the owners, working closely with course architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, envisioned a traditional layout that offers a leisurely and enjoyable walk for members and their guests. As such, golf carts are reserved for those with a demonstrated physical need. If you are a guest and would like more information about our cart policy, please contact the Club directly.

  • Dress Code Policy
    • Proper golf attire is always required while on the course and in the clubhouse.

The following items are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse:

      • Blue denim
      • T-shirts
      • Hooded sweatshirts
      • Athletic shorts or pants

Hats must be removed when inside the Clubhouse.

While non-golf attire is acceptable when arriving or departing the Club, members and guests must be in proper attire when using any Club facilities.

  • Cell Phone Policy
    • The use of your cell phone for conversational purposes is prohibited in all areas of the EHGC property except for the privacy of automobiles, second floor telephone alcove and the lounge area inside the men’s and women’s locker rooms.

      • Cell phones must be either set to operate in the silent mode or be turned off.
      • The use of cell phones on the practice areas is strictly prohibited.
      • Cell phones are permitted to be used for non-verbal use (texting, emailing, internet, etc.).
      • Cell phone use is highly discouraged on the golf course and all members of a group must consent prior to the round that a member of the group may use their cell phone in urgent cases only.
