12.5.2 June 8, 2026 build 51063
EazyDraw 12.5.2 builds out the Automation API so an AI assistant or script can now create and arrange drawing content, not only read and fill it. New in this release: drawing shapes, naming and removing graphics, and setting fill and line colors — all through the same private Automation API that runs only on your own Mac.
An assistant can now add shapes to a drawing directly — straight lines, rectangles and rounded rectangles, ovals, polygons, multi-segment lines, and arcs and pie wedges — each placed and sized exactly where you ask. Every one is a real, editable EazyDraw shape, ready to restyle, move, or group just like a shape you draw by hand.
Every graphic you create now receives a clear, automatic name, so an assistant can find it again, change it, and describe it back to you in plain language. You can rename anything to something meaningful, and remove a graphic you no longer want. Names stay unique within a drawing — even after you copy or duplicate — so there is never any doubt about which shape is which.
Give any shape a solid fill along with a line color and width through the API, and read its current colors back at any time. It is the first step toward a fuller set of color and fill controls in the releases ahead.
