Little is found on Proton’s website. That’s why I decided to contact Proton’s Customer Support. They sent me:
Thank you for reaching out. Kindly note that we care about the environment as much as we care about privacy. We look to always choose the most eco-friendly option for our energy needs. Proton uses renewable energy, mostly from hydroelectric sources. Sustainability is important to us and an area that we continually focus on. When the option is available, we use data center suppliers who also value sustainability. Currently, all our data centers run on 100% green energy. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose more information for security reasons.
