Prophecy of Thol ~ TV Episode 1 is in the top 25% of 238,260 scripts on Coverfly. Prophecy of Thol is book #1 in the Thol series which consists of Gifts from Thol, Love of Thol, King of Thol, and Earth Calling Thol. Logline: After waking from a coma haunted by cryptic visions, a brilliant young woman is pulled through a mystical fog into a parallel world where she must master ancient gifts to stop a robotic invasion and fulfill a prophecy that bridges two dimensions. Synopsis: The Dreams of a Survivor Five years ago, D’laine Jackson’s life was shattered by a tragic accident that left her in an eight-month coma. Since waking, she has been plagued by recurring nightmares featuring four distinct images: a handsome prince, a reptilian monster (a Plotal), a large white furry creature (an Egrom), and a terrifying black robot. While her father, Lee, a NASA scientist, tries to help her move on, D’laine feels as though her reality on Earth is merely a temporary stay. The Great Fog On the eve of leaving for college, D’laine’s premonitions become a reality. While at a shopping mall, a dense, unnatural fog rolls in—an event recorded by onlookers as a "portal" or "wormhole." D’laine is pulled through the void and deposited into the vibrant, alien world of Thol. She is discovered by the Egroms, the very creatures from her dreams, who realize her arrival is the catalyst for an ancient prophecy involving the mysterious figure known as the Visionary. Mastering the Gift Under the tutelage of the Egrom Elder, Ghury, D’laine discovers that the accident on Earth didn't just leave her with scars; it awakened dormant psychic and healing abilities. In Thol, her physical injuries are miraculously healed, and she learns "The Voice"—a power to command the planet's most savage beasts, such as the deadly diwal dogs. D’laine must navigate complex social structures, eventually meeting Prince Trakon (the prince from her dreams), whose initial skepticism of her "outsider" status turns into a deep romantic bond as they work to understand her role alongside the Visionary. The Robotic Invasion The peace of Thol is shattered when the black robots from D’laine’s visions begin to emerge through an unstable portal. These machines, led by a malevolent force, threaten to consume Thol and use it as a bridge to reach Earth. D’laine realizes that her arrival was no accident; she must unify the warring and isolationist races of Thol—including the reptilian Plotals—to stand against the mechanical hoard and protect the world from total annihilation. The Final Stand In a climactic battle that spans dimensions, D’laine leads a coalition of humans, Egroms, and Plotals against the robot army. Using her mastered gifts and her command over the beasts of Thol, she manages to stabilize the portals. The story concludes with a profound shift in reality: D'laine is reunited with her father and brothers, who are pulled into Thol during the final energy surge along with one of the scientists who was studying D’laine’s disappearance from Earth. While the threat of the robots is neutralized for now, D’laine accepts her role as a protector of the realm, standing with Trakon and her family as they face the future of both Thol and Earth.

Now a mother to a new generation that represents the survival of her entire species, Abby must brave the perilous trek to TMZ to reunite her family and secure freedom for the future of canines.

The Alcott Family Adventures, Hot Chocolate – Cozy Mystery – TV Episode 1 Semifinalist in the Scripmatix Pilot Season Logline: When frisky 92-year-old chocolate billionaire Bernie Alcott’s middle-aged, eccentric daughters fire his blond bombshell nurse, all hell breaks loose. When her husband is found murdered with a prized family heirloom, the wealthy Alcott clan must use astrology, psychics, and sheer Southern willpower to solve the mystery before one of their own takes the fall. Synopsis: The series centers on Lila Mae Alcott (62), the down-to-earth but spiritually fiery middle sister of the multi-billion-dollar Alcott Chocolate empire. Unlike her loud, ostentatious older sister Madge (66) and her guilt-tripping, manipulative younger sister Dorothea (55), Lila Mae navigates life through the precise charts of astrology. The inciting incident of the series kicks off when Dorothea taps out of caring for their 92-year-old father, Bernie Alcott. Supposedly borderline-demented, Bernie is actually a sharp, fiercely independent billionaire who uses his frailty as a ruse to misbehave. Fearing that Bernie’s gorgeous, form-fitting-outfit-wearing nurse, Bambi Chaline (31), has her eyes on the Alcott fortune, the sisters ambush Bambi with a massive severance package and ship Bernie off to the luxurious Lake Sides Assisted Living Center in the Uptown Galleria. Free of supervision, Bernie instantly becomes the butterfly of the facility, chasing nurses and living his best life. The comedy turns to a cozy crime scene when Bambi’s slick, bowling-alley-owning husband, Jimmy Ray Chaline, attempts to sue the Alcott empire for wrongful termination through a shady ambulance chaser, Mark Slade. When the frivolous case is laughed out of court, an enraged Jimmy Ray goes missing—only to be found murdered at his own bowling alley. The kicker? The murder weapon is a prized, high-end dessert fork stolen directly from Dorothea Divine’s River Oaks mansion. Leading the investigation is Detective Chance Walker (56), Houston’s wealthiest cop, River Oaks native, and Lila Mae’s longtime beau. As Chance tries to keep the investigation strictly by the book, the Alcotts launch their own chaotic parallel investigation. They utilize Lila Mae’s astrology charts, the protective sage-burning of Dorothea’s houseman Joseph Chung, and the powerful brujería (witchcraft) blood ceremonies of Uncle Tito, who drives up from Mexico in a 1948 Ford pickup with a crate of live chickens to find clues. The suspects are numerous, the secrets are deep, and the plot thickens with two massive curveballs: 1.Bambi is pregnant with billionaire Bernie's baby. 2.The stress causes Dorothea to faint, only for Uncle Tito to psychically diagnose her with twins!

Plan B – Dark Comedy – 103 pages ★ LAKE TRAVIS FILM FESTIVAL SCRIPT COMPETITION FINALIST ★ ★ CREATIVE SCREENWRITING UNIQUE VOICES QUARTERFINALIST ★ ★ TABLE READ MY SCREENPLAY COMPETITION FINALIST ★ Logline: When a pushed-to-the-brink suburban family realizes their juvenile delinquent son is entirely beyond saving, they unanimously vote to execute a flawless "Plan B": kill the little bastard and get away with it. Synopsis: The Delinquent from Hell. Sixteen-year-old Kevin "Juice" Undertosh is a suburban nightmare. With neon-spiked hair, graffiti-covered clothes, and a "doped-up" attitude, he spends his time vandalizing neighborhood property—including filling a neighbor's pool with dead fish—and terrorizing his family. His parents, Bert and Fern, and his eccentric grandparents, Emily and Earl, are at their wit’s end as Juice faces a string of court dates and school suspensions. The Failure of Plan A. The family attempts traditional interventions, including mandatory sessions with Dr. Robbell, a bizarre, karate-practicing psychiatrist who attempts to use "yogi breath" and "witch doctor" tricks to calm Juice’s aggression. However, Juice remains unreachable, going as far as faking a letter to his school stating his parents died in a plane crash to avoid classes. After a disastrous family dinner where Juice attacks his younger siblings and lets off fireworks in the kitchen, Bert and Fern realize that "Plan A"—patience and therapy—is no longer viable. The Execution of Plan B. Driven to a breaking point, the family decides to "capture him and change him back". While Juice is out, Earl and Bert convert a spare bedroom into a high-security cell, complete with burglar bars and a heavy steel door salvaged from a "psycho ward". The family successfully "kidnaps" Juice and begins a terrifying regime of psychological warfare. They forcibly cut and dye his hair to a "normal" style and present him with a chilling ultimatum: reform or face "permanent eviction". The Mock Execution. To truly break Juice’s spirit, the family—now including a complicit Dr. Robbell—stages increasingly extreme scenarios. This culminates in a horrifying mock hanging where Juice is forced to stand with a rope around his neck attached to a meat hook in the ceiling. The psychological "dissonance" of seeing his polite, suburban family transform into seemingly cold-blooded killers finally shatters Juice's rebellious persona. A Questionable Success. The treatment works with disturbing efficiency. Juice emerges from the room as a clean-cut, polite, and studious young man who reads encyclopedias, listens to Mozart, and protectively defends his younger brother from school bullies using his old "head-bashing" skills for good. While Fern and Bert celebrate the return of their "sweet child," the story ends on a darkly comedic note, highlighting the extreme measures a desperate family will take to achieve a "happy" home.
