Support our commitment to telling Connecticut's stories.
There are a few different ways to give to Connecticut Explored. We are a nonprofit organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status, meaning your gift is tax-deductible.
Friends of
Connecticut Explored
Your gift provides important annual support for the continued publication of the magazine.
Friends support also makes our educational initiatives possible, from discounted subscriptions for teachers and students, to the development of social studies resources for students in K-12.
Friends of
Grating the Nutmeg
Fans of our podcast can support the show directly.
We are in the process of digitizing our GTN podcasts with the Connecticut Digital Archive. Your donations will help support that effort, as well as help keep the podcast free to listeners. From Oct. 1 to Oct. 20 we will be accepting donations for our first annual Grating the Nutmeg online benefit auction 2024. Click here for more information.
Friends gifts donated after 1/1/2025 will be listed in the Spring 2026 issue.

Endowment Gift
In 2021, the Endow Hartford 21 idea was conceived, and over 3 years, CT Explored raised over $250,000 for our endowment. These funds are held at the Jewish Community Foundation and Greater Hartford Gives Foundation .
We are pleased to share a new matching opportunity through Birdies for Charity.
* As part of the Travelers Championship, Webster Bank will be matching 15% of donations received through the Birdies for Charity program. *
Donations must be received by June 28, 2026 through Birdies for Charity. Thank you for participating in this great opportunity for us.
