About the Canadian Spinal Research Organization

The Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO) serves as Canada’s national network for spinal cord injury (SCI) advocacy, engagement, and knowledge coordination. We connect researchers, clinicians, policymakers, community leaders, and individuals living with SCI to ensure that research progress, policy development, and lived experience are aligned.

By bringing together these interconnected voices, CSRO strengthens collaboration and helps advance a more

coordinated national approach to spinal cord injury.

As a hub for research awareness and advocacy insight, CSRO curates verified updates, highlights emerging scientific developments, and tracks policy initiatives that impact the SCI community.

Our role is not to duplicate efforts, but to connect them — fostering informed dialogue, supporting evidence-based advocacy, and promoting meaningful progress across Canada’s SCI ecosystem.
