Built for the
Apple Ecosystem

CrestCoder builds native iOS applications in Swift for businesses across India, Australia, South Africa, and the UK. App Store-ready, tested on real devices, and built with the iOS-specific frameworks that actually need a native app rather than a cross-platform one.

An Honest Recommendation

When native iOS
is actually the right call

We also build Flutter and React Native. Native Swift is not always the answer — here's when we'd actually recommend it.

Deep iOS framework integration

HealthKit, ARKit, or advanced camera APIs work best — sometimes only — with native Swift access.

iOS-only, no Android plans

If you genuinely don't need Android, native gives you the best possible performance with no cross-platform overhead.

Graphics-heavy or animation-critical apps

Apps where every frame matters benefit from native rendering without a cross-platform abstraction layer.

Taking over an existing native codebase

If you already have a Swift or Objective-C app, continuing in native usually beats a costly rewrite.

Why CrestCoder

We tell you the truth
about native vs cross-platform

Honest platform advice

We build native and cross-platform — we'll recommend native iOS only when it's genuinely the better fit for your project.

Real device testing

QA on actual iPhones and iPads across multiple iOS versions, not just the simulator.

App Store submission handled

We manage screenshots, metadata, and reviewer feedback so you're not learning App Store Connect from scratch.

Full project visibility

Two-week sprints with working builds via TestFlight at every demo — you test the real app, not a screen recording.

Our Process

How an iOS
project runs

01

Discovery & platform decision

We confirm native iOS is the right fit — or recommend Flutter/React Native if it isn't — based on your feature requirements.

02

UI/UX design

Designs built to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, approved in Figma before development starts.

03

Swift development

Agile sprints with weekly TestFlight builds — you test real progress on your own device.

04

QA on real devices

Testing across multiple iPhone and iPad models and iOS versions, not just the Xcode simulator.

05

App Store launch & support

Full submission handling, then an optional retainer for version updates and continued feature work.

Common Questions

Frequently
asked questions

Still have questions? Contact us directly.

Should I build native iOS or use Flutter/React Native?+
Native Swift makes sense when you need deep integration with iOS-specific frameworks (ARKit, HealthKit, advanced camera APIs), the absolute best performance for graphics-heavy apps, or you're iOS-only with no Android plans. If you need both iOS and Android and don't have an iOS-specific hardware dependency, Flutter or React Native usually gets you there faster and cheaper. We'll recommend honestly based on your actual requirements.
Do you build for both iPhone and iPad?+
Yes. We design and build adaptive layouts using Auto Layout and SwiftUI that work properly across iPhone and iPad screen sizes, rather than just stretching an iPhone layout onto a bigger screen.
Do you use SwiftUI or UIKit?+
It depends on the project and minimum iOS version you need to support. SwiftUI is our default for new projects targeting iOS 15+, since it's faster to build and maintain. We use UIKit when supporting older iOS versions or working within an existing UIKit codebase.
How long does App Store review take, and do you handle it?+
Apple's review typically takes 24–48 hours, though it can take longer for apps with complex permissions or first-time submissions. We handle the entire submission process, including App Store screenshots, metadata, and responding to any reviewer feedback if changes are requested.
Can you integrate with HealthKit, ARKit, or other iOS-specific frameworks?+
Yes. We have experience with HealthKit for health and fitness apps, Core Location for location-based features, and camera/AR frameworks for apps needing augmented reality. These deep iOS integrations are one of the main reasons to choose native Swift over a cross-platform framework.
How much does native iOS app development cost?+
A simple iOS app typically costs $8,000–$20,000. A mid-complexity app with backend integration, push notifications, and in-app purchases usually runs $20,000–$50,000. Apps requiring deep iOS-specific framework integration (HealthKit, ARKit) or complex offline sync can run higher depending on scope.
