Fall, Winter and Summer Issues

CPCO publishes three newsletters at different intervals each month. The Associate Newsletter, released bi-weekly on Tuesdays, includes association updates and announcements, news from Catholic and educational partners, events, and vendor advertisements. The Continuous Learning Newsletter, issued bi-weekly on Thursdays, features professional development courses, events, and other learning opportunities. Support Services Connections, published monthly, provides resources on support services and legal advice.

CPCO serves its membership by supporting on-going and evolving professional learning for Catholic school leaders. We provide opportunities for Catholic Principals, Vice-Principals and aspiring teacher leaders to further their leadership development through participation in differentiated face-to-face professional learning sessions that are grounded in Gospel values and build the skills, knowledge and attitudes as outlined in the Ontario Catholic Leadership Framework.

Support Services Insights (SSIs) are brief reflections addressing current issues within the Catholic Principal and Vice-Principal community. These are compiled and written by the CPCO Support Services staff and Legal Counsel, covering topics such as Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Investigations, Legal Matters, School Management, Mental Health and Wellness, and Negotiations and Retirement. These insights provide preventive measures and resources to support our Associates’ work.

Principal Connections is an award-winning magazine mailed directly to Catholic education leaders of 1,500 schools serving 575,000 children across Ontario including Principals, Vice-Principals, Superintendents and Directors of Education.
