Climate Strategy

CEC is at the forefront of Tennessee’s climate leadership, contributing key technical expertise to the state’s first‑ever Tennessee Volunteer Emission Reduction Strategy. The plan positions Tennessee among nationwide leaders advancing meaningful greenhouse gas reductions. Guided by CEC experts Kris Macoskey and Jenny Rickford O’Brien, the strategy reflects innovative thinking and a strong commitment to a more sustainable future.

Chris Dohner, P.E. On Leadership, Listening

When Chris Dohner, P.E., stepped into the role of Corporate Waste Practice Lead, it marked a clear progression in his long tenure with CEC. Since joining the company in 2012, he has taken on increasing responsibility while remaining closely involved in project work. In his new role, he is focusing on strengthening the practice, supporting staff development, and guiding long‑term planning across offices.

Photo Contest

CEC sponsors a photo-of-the-month contest encouraging employees to submit photos from work sites. Winning photos are published on CEC’s internal website and social media pages. One is selected to be featured in each edition of Elements.
