Where We Work Around the Watershed

With offices, facilities, programs, and boots on the ground in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., CBF is working toward a healthy and resilient Chesapeake Bay ecosystem where people, plants, and animals thrive together.

Maryland

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation opened its first office in Annapolis, Maryland’s state capital, in 1967. The Philip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis is home to both CBF’s main office and our Maryland office. Our Easton office serves Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Pennsylvania

CBF opened it’s Harrisburg office in 1986, when Pennsylvania became a full partner in the Bay cleanup effort.

The epicenter of our advocacy efforts, our Federal Affairs staff focus on important clean water issues at the federal level.
