3 Essential Modules for Your Photography Career

Most photographers don’t lack information — they lack focus.
They jump between shooting, editing, and inspiration without a clear direction.

through the most important areas of photography.

1. SKILLS

Build confidence in your technical foundation.
Learn to control natural and studio lighting, work with composition, posing and apply clean, professional retouching.
Skills are developed through clear assignments, practical exercises, and video lessons with professional models.

1.1. NATURAL LIGHT

Feel confident shooting in any weather.

Daylight training helps you stay in control in situations where most photographers feel uncertain.

You will learn to:

– recognize different types of light in urban environments (harsh, soft, reflected, rim, tunnel light)
– use reflectors and understand basic lighting principles
– control both soft and hard natural light
– quickly read existing light and adapt to it
– create multiple lighting setups using a single window
– work confidently in outdoor sunlight

You will also understand and apply key lighting concepts such as reflectors, diffusers, light direction, shadow patterns, and light falloff.

1.2. STUDIO LIGHTING

No more panic in the studio.

This module helps you confidently control artificial light and bring your creative vision to life in a studio environment.

You will learn to:

– understand essential studio equipment and how it works
– control flash systems and basic studio lighting principles
– use different modifiers and understand their effect on light
– build both simple and multi-light setups with confidence
– create consistent lighting for commercial-style photography, including clean results on white and colored backgrounds
– apply reliable lighting setups that work in most real studio situations

You will also learn and apply key studio lighting concepts such as flash triggers, modifiers, light direction, falloff, and basic studio equipment like softboxes, octaboxes, grids, and reflectors.

1.3. COMPOSITION AND POSING

Create images that feel intentional and alive.

Strengthen your visual storytelling and work confidently with models. This module is focused on composition and posing as the foundation of strong photography.

During the course, you will:

Composition

– understand the core principles of composition and why they matter
– practice creating different visual results in the same location using different approaches
– develop the ability to recognize strong framing and angles in real time.

Posing

– learn how to communicate clearly with your subjects for a smooth photoshoot
– combine posing with props to create more natural and expressive images
– understand posing principles for women, men, couples, and groups.

1.4. RETOUCHING

Editing that stays invisible — but makes the difference.

Confidently finish your images with professional post-production skills. This module covers workflow, skin retouching, and color grading.

During the course, you will:

Workflow & Editing Process

– work with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
– build an efficient editing workflow for faster results
– understand RAW file processing
– learn how to remove or add elements when needed

Skin Retouching

– achieve natural, clean skin retouching without over-editing
– understand layers, masks, and non-destructive editing
– practice Frequency Separation and Dodge & Burn techniques

Color & Toning

– develop control over color tones and image mood
– understand contrast and how it affects your images
– convert and refine images in black and white

2. STYLE & PHOTOGRAPHY AS A BUSINESS

To turn photography into a sustainable career, you need more than technical skills — you need a clear visual style and a focused direction.
Your style is what makes your work recognizable. Your direction is what helps you attract the right clients.
In this module, you learn how to connect both — developing a consistent visual identity and understanding how to turn it into real opportunities.

2.1. FINDING YOUR UNIQUE STYLE

Discover your signature style.

We will analyze your work, review your choices, and guide you through a structured process of understanding your visual direction.

By experimenting with different techniques and tools, you will identify what feels natural to you and what strengthens your images.

Step by step, you will build a consistent and recognizable style that reflects your creative identity.

2.2. FINDING YOUR NICHE

Find the field where you truly belong.

Understand which photography direction fits your strengths, style, and interests — and start building clear positioning in that niche.

In this specialization training, you will:

– understand why choosing a niche is essential for long-term growth
– learn how to identify a niche that aligns with your style and skills
– develop a clear positioning that helps you attract the right clients.

2.3. CREATING YOUR PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY

Communicate your strengths with confidence.

Build a strong portfolio and communicate your work in a clear and intentional way.

Portfolio

– understand how your work is perceived by others
– structure your portfolio across platforms (website, social media)
– review and refine your existing portfolio with a critical eye
– learn how to continuously update and improve your portfolio over time

Communication

– understand how to use social media as a creative and professional tool
– create engaging content through posts, stories, and reels
– build consistency in your visual and written communication
– develop a clear personal branding and self-presentation style

3. INTERACTIVE LEARNING AND MEETUPS

Learn faster with direct support from instructors and a community of photographers working toward the same goals.
Take part in meetups, hands-on workshops, and practical sessions designed to help you apply what you learn in real situations.

3.1. ONLINE MEETUPS

New topics and answers to your questions.

Twice a month, we meet online via Zoom to discuss practical and relevant topics that support your photography development — from technical skills and portfolio building to client work and pricing.

These sessions are interactive, giving you direct access to instructors for questions, feedback, and guidance.

Meetups take place every other Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EET).

The first session each month is focused on skill development.
The second is dedicated to Q&A and reviewing student work.

3.2. YEARLY GOALS WORKSHOP

Create your action plan for the year ahead.

Together, we define your goals and build a practical plan for the next stage of your photography development.

Step by step, you will create a focused strategy that helps you direct your time and effort toward meaningful progress.

3.3. CERTIFICATE

Proof of your skills and knowledge.

After completing the Skills module, you receive the Photography Mastery Certificate, confirming your level of technical development.

It shows that you have developed real, practical skills in key technical areas of photography, including lighting, composition, and post-production.

Tomas Brazzi

Founder of Brazzi Academy and Brazzi Studio, photographer, and visionary.

Seeing the potential in a former sewing space, Tomas transformed it into a photography studio that has become a standard in Lithuania and, for over 10 years, has brought together people passionate about creativity.

As Tomas says, he can only create by sharing and inspiring others. Over the past 10 years, he has mentored several generations of talented photographers and brought together both professionals and aspiring creatives from various fields to collaborate on meaningful projects.
