Earn extra rewards with Bitpanda Staking

To view your rewards, go to the transaction history and select Rewards, or open the asset detail page and check the related transactions under Bitpanda Earn.

• For Staking, there is no lock-in period. You can redeem your assets at any time (except for ETH staking).

Sit back and let your assets do the work! For staking rewards are calculated based on the current annual yield from the blockchain, which is updated weekly. They are distributed every Tuesday, according to your staked amount and the number of full days your assets were staked. Rewards are paid out in the same asset that you staked.

For staking, The APYs shown on Bitpanda are for reference only and may change over time. The actual APY available will be displayed on the summary screen right before you confirm an Earn Transaction. You can always see the current APY for your assets on your asset detail page.

Bitpanda will for the provision of the Staking Services charge a commission which will be automatically deducted before Rewards will be distributed to the Bitpanda Client.

Each Proof of Stake crypto-asset has different fees and rewards, however, Bitpanda always tries to get the best execution possible. Also, with Bitpanda you are not tied to the lock-in or waiting periods, therefore, your rewards will be paid out every week.

Staked assets cannot be used with the card. In order to make a payment with a staked asset, you have to redeem it first.

You can expect to receive the rewards on Tuesday every week. However, Bitpanda at no time guarantees payment of rewards. Bitpanda is not responsible for delays in payment due to technical limitations.

It is still possible to incur losses if the value of the coin goes down and the losses, thus, are higher than the rewards received from staking. Staking rewards are impacted by factors outside of the control of Bitpanda GmbH, e.g. changes of the protocols of Staking Asset Network, technical disruptions. Bitpanda can therefore not guarantee any specific staking reward or return over time.

• The weekly reward per asset must be worth at least EUR 0.01 for them to be distributed to you.

• If the value of the asset you have staked falls below EUR 1.00, you will not be eligible to receive rewards.

Yes. Bitpanda may adjust rates based on market conditions or liquidity needs. Any change will be shown in-app before it takes effect.

Yes, you continue earning yield during the 14-day redeem period until your assets are released.
