Operating systems
The bHosted VPS platform uses Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM). This lets you install a Linux or Windows operating system on your VPS.
Please note that we only provide the installation media for Linux and Windows. You are responsible for a valid license, which you must enter during the installation of the operating system.
Below is an overview of the available installation images.
Windows VPS
You can also install Windows on a VPS. The system requirements for a Windows VPS are higher than for a VPS running a Linux distribution. Also note that you must provide a valid product key yourself. Our Windows VPS hosting is delivered from our data center in the Netherlands.

Linux comes in many different distributions, and everyone has their favorite. To let you pick yours, bHosted makes as many Linux ISOs as possible available from our data center in the Netherlands. This keeps installation and hosting of your Linux VPS smooth and trouble-free.
