Bayaud Works began to staff and operate emergency shelters and protective action sites in the Denver Metro area in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic evolved, so did the services that Bayaud Works offers. We now provide additional services such as janitorial and security, matching non-traditional applicants with a second chance at opportunities where they can excel and remain fully committed in the mainstream of life.

Bayaud Works team members are trained in CPR, Mental Health First Aid, CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Trauma Informed Care and Narcan.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE

Shelter Management

We provide full-service shelter operations including staffing, meals, safety, and facilities support in repurposed and nontraditional environments. Experience spans both short-term, weather-triggered emergency shelter, and 24/7 permanent facilities, supporting high resident volumes – including families and children – while maintaining continuity of care, safety, and pathways to rehousing.

Unarmed Security

We provide unarmed security services to support shelters and partner facilities, with a growing in-house security team focused on safety, de-escalation, and site stability in high need environments. Our services are tailored to a wide range of client needs, with applications extending beyond homelessness services to community facilities and other settings requiring a consistent, professional unarmed security presence.

Janitorial Services

We provide janitorial and cleaning services for shelters and partner facilities, supporting safe, sanitary operations in high-use, congregate care environments. Services are delivered multiple times per week based on contract needs and may be provided as standalone support or in conjunction with staffing and shelter operations contracts.
