About BASX Hero Image

Our Company

We exist to solve the thermal challenges others avoid. We design, build, and test custom systems for extreme demands without shortcuts or templates. Through disciplined engineering and relentless attention to detail, we deliver solutions built to perform for decades.

Our Philosophy

Listen First, Engineer Second

Every BASX product starts with understanding the real demands of the environment – thermal load, airflow, space constraints, and long-term operational goals. From there, our vertically integrated team brings engineering, manufacturing, and quality control under one roof to iterate quickly, build with precision, and deliver systems ready to perform. We don’t force projects into predefined product boxes we shape each solution around what your facility needs today and what it will demand tomorrow.

People First, Always

We are powered by the people behind the build experienced teams that take ownership, move with purpose, and never lose sight of the basics. We believe pride in the work, perseverance through complexity, and commitment to the craft are what set great manufacturing apart. Our roots keep us grounded, and our teams keep us moving forward.

Strong Partners, Shared Standards

We work with trusted partners that share our commitment to quality, precision, and long-term performance. By collaborating closely with our vendor network, we move faster, build smarter, and deliver solutions that meet the evolving demands of mission-critical environments.

The BASX Timeline: Two Decades in the Relentless Pursuit of Innovation

Dave Benson and Matt Tobolski built BASX on one simple idea: Don’t settle for what exists. Build what’s needed and crush every spec along the way. From homegrown roots to billion-dollar milestones: our story is one of persistence, innovation, and purpose. And we’re nowhere near finished.

Stronger Together

In November 2021, BASX joined forces with AAON, Inc. to accelerate growth and expand into mission-critical markets. With this partnership, BASX gained the resources and operational power to scale without losing our edge. We’re still BASX at our core, with the same engineering mindset and the same high standards, now with more horsepower behind us and ready for whatever comes next.
