Dubai-based galleries can apply for financial support when participating in international art fairs, as part of an initiative launched by Dubai Culture and managed by Art Dubai Projects. The programme is designed to de-risk art fair participation and make it a viable, long-term part of building a gallery in Dubai.
Galleries with a full-time presence in Dubai for at least 2 years, and that actively support artist production, are eligible to apply.
Eligible galleries can apply for a grant of up to AED 50,000 to cover booth rental fees and shipping costs for a recognised international art fair, for a maximum of 2 fairs per year. A full list of applicable fairs is available on the application form.
Applications are open year-round — apply as soon as you have received confirmation of your participation in an upcoming fair.
