Architecture that connects

Architecture draws its strength from character, cultural context, and its ability to connect people and places. This issue of architectum presents diverse projects across Europe, showcasing innovative and future-oriented solutions.

A showcase of future-oriented solutions

The latest edition of architectum explores how contemporary architecture is redefining sustainability, material innovation, and social value across Europe. Highlights include a semi-transparent brick façade in Denmark, a revitalized school in France, or a historic building in Germany with a red photovoltaic roof.

This issue reveals 12 projects that resolve both structural and aesthetic challenges with the intelligent application of building materials. In many of these projects, while the look of a material was important, it was the product’s other characteristics that made it the right choice.
