APS was founded in 1995 to support professionals working, or interested, in design and construction health and safety risk management. Members are largely drawn from architecture, engineering, architectural technology, project management and surveying. Membership of APS supports continuous professional development and demonstrates the highest professional standards.

Staff

Staff

APS members are supported by a small, dedicated professional team at headquarters in Edinburgh. The team puts on membership events and delivers training and support for members everywhere as well as taking care of the day to day business of running the organisation. The staff is headed by chief executive, Andrew Leslie.

Where to find APS

APS has members throughout the UK from the far north of Scotland to the south of England, in Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Volunteer committees of elected regional representatives ensure there are always events, activities and support near you. APS also supports professionals working overseas.
