In-Field Pre-Production Pilot
In 2024, AlumaPower deployed a multi-month in-field pilot of a pre-production system with our courier customer. The integrated system provided grid independent power to charge our customers E-cargo bikes. The unit was sustained in the field with the support of AlumaPower’s ecosystem partners.
Marine Propulsion Demo
In 2024, AlumaPower conducted an internal technology demonstration of marine propulsion. A retrofitted antique boat was piloted for 4 hours without refuelling using 100% Aluminum power to directly drive an electric outboard.
IDEaS Under Pressure
AlumaPower has completed component 1A and awarded 1B (in progress) to develop concept systems for multi-modal rapidly deployable power generation to support forward deployed medical supply chains.
IDEaS PowerUp
AlumaPower was awarded components 1A and 1B to develop concept systems for soldier and platoon level operational energy. AlumaPower’s modular soldier worn generator concept received 100% scores from military validators.
DNV Labs 3rd Party Validation
In 2023 AlumaPower provided sample systems for testing by 3rd party firm DNV labs. The tests independently validated AlumaPower’s ability to extract high energy densities from 100% scrap Aluminum, along with key functionalities like stop/start cycling.
