Trains need saunas and ice baths too! ☀️❄️ Fresh out of an intensive climate chamber in Vienna, this Coradia Max double‑deck train has endured everything from +40 °C heat to −25 °C blizzards, as part of a four week test campaign to ensure reliable operation throughout the seasons. We’ll be delivering a total of 156 of these trains to the Landesanstalt Schienenfahrzeuge Baden-Württemberg and of these tests mark an important milestone on the way to the start of passenger operations. #ClimateChamber #RegionalTrains

Cameras and smart software help them read signals, recognise what’s ahead and keep a smooth, steady rhythm. If something unexpected appears, an operator can instantly take over.
