– Fix geographic conversion from GPS Lat/Lon heading to UTM heading.

1.2.9 Update Release notes:
– When displaying “Actual” locked line number, use “Actual” line number in “GuideLin” command.

Platinum LiNav Software Update Version 1.2.8, 110 MB, May 8 2024 – Requires Version 1.1.2 or higher
1.2.8 Update Release notes:
– Make auto zoom near area adaptive.
Settings > Display “Auto Zoom Near Area”
If this value is non zero, Auto zoom will be activated this many seconds before entering the area.
When auto zoom takes place, adjust it by pressing Zoomin or ZoomOut if needed.
This will be remembered on the next run.
– Old Area: “Allow Line Generation” only allows generating new .xyz or .lin files. The .nme file is never modified.

1.2.7 Update Release notes:
– Old Area: If generating new .xyz or .lin display data from .nme and not from parsed .xyz and .lin files.
– If using OLED Lightbar have option to set a look ahead time in seconds for the right vertical bar.
The new option is under Settings > Lightbar “Right Bar look ahead”
This will only work if one is flying in drape mode.
– Add option to use OLED UP/DOWN arrows for Altitude guidance.
The new option is under Settings > Lightbar “Arrow Indicator”
– Add option to auto zoom near area.
The new option is under Settings > Display “Auto Zoom Near Area”
If this value is non zero, Auto zoom will be activated this many seconds before entering the area.
– Remove OLED “Angular Indicator” setting.
– Add option to change line heading display according to aircraft heading.
The new option is under Settings > Guidance “Change Line Heading”
– Add new option to change the max vertical bar scale
The new option is under Settings > Guidance “Max Vertical Bar Scale”
If this value is non zero, it will override the .nme setting (parameter 85).

1.2.6 Update Release notes:
– Add Support for LightWare SF30/D range finder (altimeter).
Note: The SF30/D requires an RS232 to TTL 3.3V Converter and 5V power.

Platinum LiNav Software Update Version 1.2.5, 110 MB, Oct 5 2023 – Requires Version 1.1.2 or higher

1.2.5 Update Release notes:
– If a .xyz file exists, always default “Allow Line Generation” to “No”.
– Fix offset being added when generating an .xyz file.
– Tie line file (.lin) can now be generated. Requirements are: The .nme file is using UTM coordinates and has a tie line master point and heading.
– New header “15 FIRST TIE LINE NUMBER, LINE INCREMENT” added to .nme definitions.
– NME file now supports tie and grid line increment number (before it was always 10).
– Default line numbering has changed: Grid Line starts at 10000 and increments by 10. Tie line starts at 100 and increments by 10. This only affects newly generated lines where the .nme file does not have “16 FIRST LINE NUMBER, LINE INCREMENT” or “15 FIRST TIE LINE NUMBER, LINE INCREMENT”.
– Please download the latest LiNav manual to see changes in the .nme area file definitions and “Old Area” loading. Pages 119 and 44.

– Add a warning if the selected grid file does not appear to have any points in the selected area.
– Fix possible 3-4 second hang when just about to exit area.
– Fix possible 3-4 second hang when recording flight data only inside area and entering the area.

• Vertical bar altitude guide can have different colors for “too” low or “too” high (To activate, Settings->Display).
• Fix finding entire grid min/max values if elements are in 4 byte float format.
• File Manager fixes, and new commands are:
  • Add “CopyZ” command. This copies all areas and flight data to individual zip files. Simplifies data management.
  • Add “BackupZ” and “RestoreZ commands. This does a backup/restore to/from a zip file.
  • Fix size of flight data not being displayed.

Platinum LiNav Software Update Version 1.1.2, 185 MB, September 2021.

1.1.2 Update Release notes:
Once you update to version 1.1.2 you cannot roll back to any previous version.
Changes made in this version:

• Fix horizontal and vertical position in altitude profile.
• Fix wrong coordinates in KML/KMZ exports.
• Fix not being able to restore factory defaults.
• Updated User Manuals included.
