Jack is a very devoted teacher who puts in a lot of effort in not only every piece of material he prepares for his class but in the way he delivers the lesson. The lessons are conducted in a way that builds concepts and enables us to think on our own feet when presented with questions. Each and every material from lesson outlines, conquests, and online videos are perfect for learning. Additionally, Jack is very friendly, patient and willing to help his students with any query they have: be it math problems or issues with study techniques. Achevas provides a conducive and positive learning environment which allows students to excel in their work!

Jack is a dedicated teacher who puts in the effort to make sure his students thoroughly understand the mathematical concepts behind each topic so that they are flexible, and best prepared to answer all types of questions. One of the most humorous teachers I've had the pleasure to come across, his light-hearted jokes keeps lessons enjoyable even amidst stressful periods. The summary sheets prepared are extremely concise yet detailed, ensuring that students are able to run through the key concepts of the entire H2 math syllabus in an insanely short amount of time. A friendly figure, Jack is also easy to approach and always willing to help with any questions his students may have be it during or after class times. Definitely highly recommend.

Achevas is one of the best decisions that I have made in order for me to improve my understanding of Mathematics. Mr Ng was essential in breaking down each topic to its core in order for us to be able to understand it to our fullest. I highly recommend other JC students to go for Achevas to improve their Mathematics and for an overall great experience!

There is a difference in teaching quality between teachers who teach to earn a living and those who teach because they are passionate about educating the next generation. I remember suggesting to Ms Janice that for someone of her calibre, she could easily find a higher-paying and less-demanding job than teaching. She responded resoundingly that she loves teaching; she would not change her occupation. From that moment, I started to admire her because she remained steadfast in a decision few would make. Ms Janice is an excellent maths teacher too. She could always explain concepts, regardless of their difficulty, in an easily understood manner. Besides, she would show several methods of solving a problem when one would suffice. She would also go the extra mile to care for the well-being of every student and ensure that everyone is doing well academically, mentally and physically. Although Ms Janice may be stern in the classroom, she is actually very kind, friendly and caring. Getting to know her was one of best thing I gained from high school. Lastly, if Ms Janice is your maths teacher, you are absoutely in safe hands :)

I especially enjoy Jack’s topical lessons where he goes in-depth and teaches the different methods to solve a problem in each topic. I really learn from his systematic way of teaching which includes going through a section of a topic on a summary sheet he provides for all students, and then proceeding to work on questions in a worksheet focusing on that section together with the class. He also makes sure that every single student understands the content before moving on to a next part. Nearing examinations, he will customise a mock paper suited to the content tested for each school the student is in, and execute timed trials, which he will then go through the solutions with the class. Starting off very weak in my H2 Mathematics in J1, I managed to attain an A grade in my A-Level Examination.

I've had the privilege of having Ms Janice as my Add Maths teacher back when I was in high school a couple of years ago. I was never one to really enjoy Maths, let alone Add Maths, until Ms Janice came along and changed my entire worldview towards the subject and learning it. There was just something about the way Ms Janice taught; with a deep sense of passion for her students' education. It was more than just 'getting the job done'. She would always make learning fun and interesting for her students because she truly cares for them. I would also always see Ms Janice going the extra mile for students in that she would always stay back to answer questions and help those students who struggled with learning despite a long day. Now that's what I call a real 5-star teacher. If anyone were to ask me till I grow old "Which teacher had the biggest impact on you during your time in high school?", without a doubt it would be Ms Janice. Any school and any student would be fortunate to have Ms Janice as their teacher!

I was fortunate enough study under the tutelage of Ms Janice. She is the best Additional Math teacher I've studied under. Always prepared for lessons and questions, she strives to provide her students with her best. She was a huge part in why I got an A*! If you can study under her guidance, consider yourself lucky!

Mr Ng is a dedicated teacher who is willing to review concepts that I am unsure of and stay back after class to attend to my questions. Within a short span of a few months attending his classes, I improved significantly in Mathematics as his in-depth explanation of the mathematical concepts and well-planned practices have helped me tremendously in grasping the subject better. Thanks Mr Ng!

Before coming to Achevas, my Math was not well and I was constantly getting only C’s and below. However, Achevas’ lessons have me a clearer understanding of the content and cleared all my doubts about the subject. My tutor was also really helpful and patient in clarifying our questions which really helped a lot!

Jake is an amazing math tutor who always breaks extremely tough questions into simpler terms by going into the basics which makes these questions easier to understand and able to solve it better. Furthermore, with all the resources on Achevas TV, i do not feel the need to look at my lecture notes anymore as the video resources have helped me a lot in clearing my doubts and preparing for my a levels. Really glad to be a student of achevas and would recommend to everyone! (-:
