All the assignments that I have been waiting for arrived today… within minutes of each other!
The paper has sent me something very interesting that I hope I will be able to share with you all at some point!
The other four titles have arrived and I have fleshed out one of those articles already. I’ve started on a second one and I might jump ship at the moment to one of the other ones just to get down some thoughts and ideas… only one of them will be more complicated than the others but if that’s the only one I can live with that!
It means that my own writing gets put on hold but that’s not always a bad thing… Sometimes we do need to take a breather even when an idea is fresh in our minds.
Before I know it everything else will be written and I will be returning to my personal projects. As far as proofreading goes, the more time in between the better because it will be even more fresh in my mind. Don’t forget… for that project I will still have to come up with a synopsis AND a TITLE! My worst nightmare…
Titles are not very fun to come up with because ultimately they need to catch the eye. It needs to stand out to people and it should be short but if it’s going to be longer it can’t be that long! It also has to make people pick it up to read the synopsis which then has to be crafted in such a way that it summarizes without giving away all the answers!
Lastly, I have to figure out cover art!
Okay, so for this moment, I’m grateful that I am pausing to work on some projects for others!
