Custom Fields for Detailed Listings

Custom Fields for Detailed Listings

WpRentals gives you the power to add custom fields for each property so you can display the details that matter most. You can create fields like “Late Check-in”, “Private Entrance”, or “Family Friendly” using dropdown, number, date or short text types.

These fields appear in the listing submission form and then show on the property page under listing details. Because they’re fully customizable, you can make your listings more specific and helpful. This helps guests make better decisions and gives your business a professional edge.

Tailor the Submission Experience

When owners submit a listing, you control exactly which custom fields they see and must fill in. By going to Theme Options > Listing Submission Form you pick which fields show up, which are required, and what order they appear.

This ensures your data stays consistent, listings stay high-quality, and you collect the right information without confusion. Owners get a clean form, you get clean data.

Simple Setup and Front-End Display

To add or edit custom fields, go to Theme Options > General > Listing Custom Fields. You fill in the field name, label, type, and order. Then listings from the front-end show these fields automatically.

Visitors see them under the “Details” section of each listing, just after the standard fields. This means you don’t need extra plugins or code changes to run custom fields: it’s built-in.
