I am Raffaello Palandri, a Buddhist Tantra Priest and gifted AuDHD polymath, structurally incapable of shallow thought, spiritual theatre, or intellectual obedience.
My work spans AI and ML architecture, strategy, and organisational change, where I design systems, build AI systems and algorithms, reshape decision-making, and dismantle dysfunctional processes, drawing on more than 25 years of international practice across cultures, industries, and scales.
I have provided coaching and consulting services to various governments, companies, and individuals. I have managed, tutored, and coached large groups of people in complex projects and environments throughout my professional career.
I lead an online Sangha, a welcoming community open to anyone with a non-judgmental mind, an open heart, and a receptive soul. Our Sangha serves as a sanctuary for personal growth, spiritual exploration, and the exchange of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Originally from Florence, Italy, I am currently residing in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. I have lived and worked in several European countries, including England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, and France.

Additionally, I am an expert in Public Speaking techniques and in Team building, Team Management, and Corporate/Business Communication Strategies.
I have deep experience in successfully supporting teams in every size of businesses, from startups to corporations, designing the adoption, the transition, and the use of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe. I am also an expert in scaling these frameworks into Kanban, LeSS, Nexus, XP, Disciplined Agile, and Scrum@Scale.
ACADEMIC SEMINARS
In 2021, I held a Seminar at Amity University – India, School of Communication – “A new model in Business Coaching and Consulting”
In 1997, I held a Seminar at the University of Rome La Sapienza, Faculty of Physics – “Mathematical and Statistical Algorithms Used in Search Engines ”
MMQG as a holistic practice
I am also the founder of MMQG Kizendo, the physical part of my coaching method. Since 1995, this holistic practice has helped more than 300 people worldwide.
MMQG Kizendo holistically uses Meditation, Mindfulness, and Qi Gong to help you live a healthier, wealthier, and happier personal and professional life.
MY BOOKS
I have authored five books to date.
In 1999 I wrote a book titled “Small Dictionary of Daily IT – Piccolo Dizionario di Informatica Quotidiana“, published by EdUP.
My second book, Free to Achieve (2019), introduces the seven basic steps of my Coaching Method. The book is the first of a series that guides individuals into a deeper understanding of who they are, what they want, and why they do things the way they do. This understanding sets them free to achieve their life purpose.
365 (plus 1) Seeds For Thought (2021) is a collection of my thoughts from a year, which enables individuals to start their journey towards self-understanding, finding their purpose, and living the life they desire and deserve.
In 2025, I authored the two volumes of The Stoic Buddha. The two volumes are the first of a series called Knowledge for Wisdom, a series that will offer the readers key knowledge elements to let them grow their awareness, understanding, and wisdom. The Stoic Buddha (Vol.1 & 2) blends Buddhist and Stoic philosophy into a profound yet practical guide for living with wisdom, virtue, and tranquillity in the modern world. Volume 1 lays the foundation for self-discovery, relationships, and ethical living, while Volume 2 explores deeper challenges—stress, growth, money, and inclusivity—guiding readers toward lasting transformation.
BUDDHISM and Sangha
I am an ordained Buddhist Priest (a ngakpa / སྔགས་པ), living as a Layperson. I was taught in the lineage of Gyurme Döndrup Wangyal (འགྱུར་མེད་དོན་གྲུབ་དབང་རྒྱལ).
My Ordained name is: Sri Raffaello Lobsang Palandri.
As an ordained Priest, I can:
- Conduct rituals, rites, and ceremonies (weddings, funerals, memorial services, blessings, exorcisms).
- Perform Puja (Offerings), involving physical offerings, visualisations, and chanting.
- Engage in Sadhana Practice: complex meditative practices involving visualisation of deities, mantra recitation, mudras, and the generation of the deity’s qualities within oneself.
- Engage in Chöd Practice: A powerful and often intense practice of “cutting through” ego-clinging by offering one’s body and merit.
- Phowa (Transference of Consciousness): Performing rituals to assist the deceased in the process of dying and rebirth.
- Drupchen (Great Accomplishment Ceremony): Participating in or leading extended group retreats focused on a specific deity practice to accumulate powerful blessings and attainments.
- Healing Rituals: Performing practices to alleviate physical, mental, and spiritual suffering.
- Protection Rituals: Engaging in practices to dispel negative energies and obstacles.
- Teach the Dharma, lead Study Groups and provide Spiritual Guidance.
- Administer and actively lead temples and Sanghas.
- Working with Energy and Body: practicing Tsa-Lung / རྩ་རླུང་ (yogic exercises and breathwork to purify and harmonize the subtle energy channels (རྩ་ / tsa) and vital winds (རླུང / lung) within the body), Tummo / གཏུམ་མོ་ (generating inner heat through specific breathing and visualization techniques), and Mi Lam Kyi Naljor / རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་ (yoga practices to cultivate awareness within dreams to accelerate spiritual progress).
- I can marry and I am not bound to celibate and monastic practices and rules.
I follow both the Vajrayana Buddhism, in the Gelug tradition of Tantric Buddhism (as taught by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama) and the Thiền Buddhism (a form of Vietnamese Chan / Zen Buddhism) in the Plum Village (by Thich Nhat Hanh) tradition.
I coordinate the Nuremberg Holistic Sangha, providing Buddhist teachings to the participants in 4 different languages.
Together, we practice, learn, and share Buddhism, embracing its teachings of mindfulness, compassion, and the path to inner peace. In addition, we delve into the profound insights of Stoicism, exploring how its principles of resilience, virtue, and acceptance can guide us in facing life’s challenges with grace. Tantra provides us with tools to cultivate awareness and deepen our connection to ourselves and others, while Taoism inspires us to flow harmoniously with the rhythms of life and nature.
Our community fosters open dialogue and encourages members to share their perspectives and experiences, enriching our collective understanding. Whether through meditation sessions, philosophical discussions, or the study of sacred texts, we create a space where every individual can embark on their unique journey of self-discovery and holistic well-being.
MARTIAL ARTS & HOLISTIC PRACTICE
I specialise in and teach Neijia 内家 – Internal Martial Arts (Tai chi chuan – 太極拳, Xingyiquan – 形意拳, and Baguazhang – 八卦掌), Chin Na, and Self Defence.
I also teach Yoga, in the tradition of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Yin Yoga. I use Seated Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Yoga for Generous & Overweight Bodies, and Corporate Yoga / Business Yoga in my job with customers and employers.
As I’m passionate about helping people unlock their full potential for vibrant health, well-being, and a balanced lifestyle, I practice and teach in both private and professional environments Traditional Chinese Mind and Body Exercises (TCMBE), a powerful approach that combines ancient wisdom with practical tools. These exercises, like 太極拳 – Tai Chi Chuan and 氣功 – Qigong (especially the 八段錦 – Ba Duan Jin and the 易筋經 – Yi Jin Jing sequences), have been honed for millennia to cultivate inner peace, strengthen the body and mind connection, and enhance overall well-being.
In all my teaching practice, I put extreme attention on focusing on inclusivity for people with specific body, mind, and health conditions.
In addition to these practices, I have experience with Thekkan Kalaripayattu (a Southern Indian Martial Art), Suntukan, Arnis/Kali (FMA, Filipino Martial Arts), Jujutsu 柔術, Wado-Ryu Karate 和道流 空手, Aiki-jūjutsu 合気柔術 (Japanese Martial Arts).
Until I was 35 – when I stopped practising competitive martial arts – I fought in Kyokushin – 極真, Sanda / Sanshou – 散打 / 散手, and Jūjutsu – 柔術 full contact tournaments.
I have been studying WingTsun following its understanding from the late GM Keith R. Kernspecht, with a particular interest in the awareness, development, and use of internal energy. This journey deepened my knowledge of the art’s subtleties and its profound connection between mind, body, and energy flow.
Beyond martial arts and yoga, I am a Reiki Master and an Energy Healer who also teaches and uses Pranayama.
I practice and teach Holistic Tantra as aspiritual healing tool.

HOBBIES AND STUDIES
In my free time, I enjoy practising calligraphy and handwriting, repairing mechanical watches, and collecting and sometimes making film cameras.
I also find relaxation in complex activities such as solving calculus, chemistry, and physics problems, working on data clusters to find unexpected correlations, and designing algorithms.
I hold a BA in Languages, Linguistics, and IT from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, with full honours. My final thesis focused on the development of a mathematical/statistical method to detect bias in speech, which can be transformed into an AI/ML model quite efficiently.
I am highly interested in the intersections of neuroscience, philosophy, sociology, politics, and language when it comes to language learning, knowledge acquisition, and speaking patterns.
For intellectual stimulation, I read and research topics like esoterism, gnosticism, alchemy, mysticism, and their declensions into practice, rituals, and beliefs.
CAUSES I SUPPORT
Finally, I am a Profoundly Gifted AuDHD person.
I live with life-threatening allergies to most medicines and nutrients. When I come in contact with the substances I am allergic to, I have Anaphylactic, SJS – Steven-Johnson Syndrome, and TEN – Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis reactions.
I obviously care deeply about supporting Giftedness, ADHD, Autism, and extremely severe allergic reactions (specifically SJS – Steven-Johnson Syndrome and TEN – Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis) due to my personal and professional condition and experiences.
I am and have always been a supporter of sustainability, a fair economy without the excesses of capitalism, environmental protection, inclusion, and civil rights.
I am an ally of the LGBTQI+ community.
In my life and on this blog, racism, discrimination, and hate have no place.
Trivia
Over several years, I’ve consistently taken various personality assessments.
While research suggests personality clusters can evolve in several people, my results have remained remarkably stable. Specifically, my MBTI and Jungian classifications have shown no significant variation throughout my life.
INTJ-A
My Myers-Briggs Character is INTJ-A, so I am Introverted (I), Intuitive (N), Thinking (T), and Judging (J) – (A) Assertive Architect. This combination is called The Architect.
Approximately only 2-4% of the general population are INTJ.
The INTJs are Confident Strategists and are known for their strategic thinking, independent nature, and unwavering confidence. They possess a unique blend of intellect, vision, and determination.
Here’s a look at their key characteristics:
- Strategic Thinking:
- INTJ-As excel at long-term planning and problem-solving. They can analyze complex situations, identify patterns, and develop innovative solutions.
- Independent and Decisive:
- They are highly self-reliant and trust their own judgment. They are not easily swayed by external pressures and are decisive in their actions.
- Visionary:
- INTJ-As have a strong sense of vision and can see possibilities that others miss. They are driven to bring their ideas to fruition and make a lasting impact.
- Confident and Assertive:
- The “-A” designation indicates an assertive variant. They are confident in their abilities and are not afraid to express their opinions. They tend to be more comfortable taking charge.
- Analytical and Logical:
- They approach problems with a logical and analytical mindset, relying on facts and evidence to guide their decisions.
- Driven and Goal-Oriented:
- INTJ-As are highly motivated and have a strong drive to achieve their goals. They are persistent and disciplined, willing to put in the hard work necessary to succeed.
- Intellectual Curiosity:
- They enjoy learning and expanding their knowledge. They are often very well read and informed on many subjects.
The INTJ-A personality type brings a powerful combination of intellect, confidence, and determination to the world. They are the strategic thinkers, the innovators, and the leaders who drive progress and create lasting change.
They are motivated from within, and their inspiration to act is based on confidence in their rationality. INTJs are reserved and often detached in social situations, as they prioritise logic and efficiency over petty chatting and trivial emotions.
The Sage
My Jungian Archetype is the Sage.
The Sage stands as a beacon of clarity and understanding. They are driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a deep desire to share their insights with the world.
Here’s a glimpse into what defines the Sage:
- Wisdom:
- Sages possess a profound understanding of the world, gained through diligent study and introspection. They see patterns and connections that others may miss, offering valuable perspectives on complex issues.
- Knowledge:
- They are lifelong learners, constantly seeking to expand their knowledge base. Their expertise often spans a wide range of subjects, making them invaluable resources for information and guidance.
- Objectivity:
- Sages strive for unbiased perspectives, valuing truth above all else. They approach situations with a calm and rational mind, seeking to understand all sides of an issue.
- Mentorship:
- They are natural mentors, eager to share their knowledge and guide others on their own paths to enlightenment. Their patience and clarity make them excellent teachers and advisors.
- Insightfulness:
- They have a strong ability to look into situations and to understand the underlying truths of those situations. They can offer valuable insights, and help others to understand things that they may have otherwise missed.
- Clarity:
- Sages can bring clarity to complex situations. They can take complicated information and break it down into easy-to-understand concepts.
The Sage archetype reminds us of the importance of seeking truth, valuing knowledge, and sharing wisdom. They are the thinkers, the educators, and the guides who help us navigate the complexities of life.
Big Five
I have also taken the Big Five test, with the following assessment:

Neuroticism 50%
Neuroticism refers to the tendency to experience negative feelings.
My score on Neuroticism is low, indicating that I am exceptionally calm, composed, and unflappable. I am usually more introspective than others, which helps me to examine and understand my behaviours, feelings, and thoughts. I do not react with intense emotions, even to situations that most people would describe as stressful, fearful, or difficult to deal with.
Extraversion 49%
Extraversion is marked by pronounced engagement with the external world.
My score on Extraversion is low, indicating I am introverted, reserved, and quiet. I do enjoy very much silence, solitude, and solitary activities.
Openness To Experience 73%
Openness to Experience describes a dimension of cognitive style that distinguishes imaginative, creative people from down-to-earth, conventional people.
My score on Openness to Experience is high, indicating that I enjoy novelty, variety, and change. I am curious, imaginative, and creative. This also shows how I have broad interests. I enjoy solving problems with new methods and find it easy to think about things in different ways. Being open to new ideas helps me to adjust easily to change.
Agreeableness 51%
Agreeableness reflects individual differences in concern with cooperation and social harmony. Agreeable individuals value getting along with others.
My score on Agreeableness is low, indicating that I actively avoid the pitfalls of comparing myself to others or caring about what others think of me. People may see me as tough, critical, and uncompromising.
Conscientiousness 71%
Conscientiousness concerns how we control, regulate, and direct our impulses.
My score onConscientiousness is low, clearly indicating that I like to live for the moment, here and now, and do what seems appropriate now. My work tends to be individual and not organised by others.
IQ Value
Starting from my formal identification as extremely gifted at the age of four, I have undergone multiple IQ assessments.
My adult scores have demonstrated a stable range, consistently fluctuating between 183 and 189 in tests with a standard deviation of 15 (e.g., WAIS, Stanford–Binet 5), a value of 192 in tests with a standard deviation of 16 (e.g., Stanford–Binet IV and CTMM), and a value of in 239 tests with a standard deviation of 24 (e.g., Cattell III-B).
Let’s keep the mean value, 186 / sd15.
It means, practically, that I am in the 99.999999506 percentile, or, alternatively, that just one person out of 202496482 has an IQ equal to or higher than mine. Or, we can also say that there are just 40 people on this planet with the same or a higher IQ value.
Is knowing all of that really useful? That’s another story …

Dear Raffaello Palandri,
I have visited a large number of your posts and pages on your excellent blog, which is a solid testament to your commendable productivity and achievements. I can also see that you have had many publications over the years, plus four more books due later this year. Keep up the good work!
I can see that under the “Teaching practice” heading, you have included a lot of Chinese words as follows:
Are you proficient in speaking, reading and/or writing in Chinese?
May you find 2022 very much to your liking and highly conducive to your publishing, writing, reading, thinking and blogging whatever topics that appeal to your holistic coaching, beneficial consulting, intellectual exploration, literary expression, artistic output and creative flair!
Yours sincerely,

First of all, I am not proficient in Chinese, yet I can read some of it.
Coming back to your comments, I am happy that you find my journey interesting, I always try to learn new things so as to better help and serve more people.

Dear Raffaello,
You are very welcome. Thank you for your reply, and for visiting and liking my posts entitled “Snowflakes, Tell Me Why You Are…” and “SoundEagle Guided Imagery“. I would like to inform you that when you visit my blog, it is preferrable to use a desktop or laptop computer with a large screen to view the rich multimedia contents available for heightening your multisensory enjoyment at my blog, which could be too powerful and feature-rich for iPad, iPhone, tablet or other portable devices to handle properly or adequately.
Moreover, since my intricate blog contains advanced styling and multimedia components plus animations, it is advisable to avoid viewing the contents of my blog using the WordPress Reader, which cannot show many of the advanced features and animations in my posts and pages. It is best to read the posts and pages directly in my blog so that you will be able to savour and relish all of the refined and glorious details plus animations, given that my blog contains not just texts and images but also bespoke stylings and dynamic animations — images and stories that are animated on their own. These are not videos but actual animations. You will realize very soon that my blog is unlike any other that you have ever visited. In addition, please turn on your finest speakers or headphones, as some posts and pages will be playing music to you automatically. A lot of the music presented is my own musical compositions.
For example, in my post entitled “If My Name Were Moon Tonight… with Clair de Lune 🌕“, you get the chance to watch my dynamic animation produced in high resolution (1920 x 1280) synchronized perfectly to Debussy’s Clair de Lune. The effects are going to be great on the large screen of your desktop or laptop. Moreover, you should be able to see that the entire post from top to bottom is full of eye-catching animations. However, if you view the post inside the WordPress Reader and not directly from my blog, you will see none of the animations and bespoke stylings, and there will be a great deal of missing contents. The difference is literally one between day and night.
This animation-intensive post is the result of my dramatic attempt to bring the Full Moon alive, so to speak, in the form of Music Animation with Dynamic Visualization presented in high definition and imbued with a scintillating full moon surrounded by eye-catching astronomical phenomena and stellar activities!
Moreover, the post contains twelve poetic stanzas constituting my rhyming poem entitled “If My Name Were Moon Tonight…“. There is also the opportunity to savour my own rendition of “Clair de Lune” recorded on the organ. I look forward to interacting with you and reading your feedback at my said post.
The direct link to the post is:
In addition, you might want to consider revisiting the two aforementioned posts that you have already liked on my blog, if you have not yet perused them in situ, so that you can enjoy more contents and animations there.
Since you have revealed to me that you can read some Chinese, you might find a specific post of mine highly edificatory and stimulating in multiple ways. The post is entitled “💨 Strong Wind Knows Tough Grass 🌾 疾風知勁草“, which you can easily locate from the Home page of my blog.
I welcome your input and am curious to know what you make of any and all of my said posts. Given your very own backgrounds, interests, insights and expertise, and given that you “always try to learn new things”, I am certainly very keen and curious about what you will make of my posts, and I look forward to the pleasure of reading your comments submitted to my posts.
Yours sincerely,
SoundEagle

Thank you very much for reading and “liking” the entries on my blog, “From My Reading”. I have now completed the series on “The Autobiographical Spiritual Journey through Books” and “The Process of Dying”. I am going to take a break and finish reading some of the books that have been beside me on my desk. When I would get an email indicating you liked an entry, it made all the work seem worthwhile. Again…thank you!

Hearty Greetings Raffaello
Thank you for visiting and taking a liking to a Musing on my embryonic blog.
I think I will be expanding my ‘About Me’ section next.
Connections we share apart from being unique expressions of All That Is; Tai Chi (I am an exponent of the Yang Long Form), Lifelong Learner as well as Teacher ( my further education path was via the Trade Unions and Environmental Issues as well as teaching English to Speakers of other languages), Hypnosis (I am a qualified Hypno-analyst) a liking for the Dalai Lama ( his Little Book of Inner Peace is a ‘go to’ for me, plus I get a sense of ‘play’ from him which is most engaging).
Pleasure to have crossed your path, kind regards, Alan.

Hi Alan,
thank you for passing by and leaving a comment.
It seems that we have quite a good number of common interests, indeed. I always like meeting people that made a journey similar to mine, as it sounds like we kinda know how awesome these topics can be.
I wish you a happy week ahead, hope to talk to you again,

When the time is right, the connection is made. It is akin to Gandalf (in Lord of the Rings) saying “A Wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to“.
From an early age, balance has been a kind of internal compass for me. I get the impression, with all your learning and teaching experience, you have found your own balance. If you are familiar with the Law of One material, I would describe you as a ‘Wanderer’. Our planet could use as many Wanderers as possible right now.
Namaste Raffaello.

I am not that much into the Law of One, even if I have some basic knowledge of it. For what I can recollect, it could be that I fit in that description, thank you for sharing your ideas!
Gandalf also said:” So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil.” and I see myself as someone who has simply reached awareness of what to do with my time in this physical form, for the time my Energy will use it.
Namaskar!

Ti ringrazio
