Hello Reader!
My name is Sarah and I am a 21 year old student at the University of Central Florida. I am an Environmental Studies major with a Sociology minor. I love what I am studying and I really just want to have a positive impact on our world.
With that said, I am always looking for places, articles, books, websites, and people that are environmentally and socially conscious. This is what inspires me and usually leads to connecting with amazing people along the way. This past year has been a bit of a growing period for me and I have really started to explore the wonderful city of Orlando.
The more comfortable I have become in this large city, I have discovered some really neat places and met some amazing people that continue to inspire me. So, my blog is a bit of a mix between being conscious about the world around you and being conscious about what’s going on right here in Orlando! Basically, I just wanted a place to share all of the interesting and not-so-apparent things going on in Orlando and a place to share some great articles and websites that I have come across—the things I think are cool (hints the title, “Harmonicas are Cool…”).
Right now is such a great time to live in this progressive city where so many people are trying to create a community that supports local art, business, food and a local economy! Sometimes, when I talk to people about events, concerts, art shows, sustainability or local food, they have no idea what is going on in their own city! So hopefully this blog will help spread the word and get people out of their box (physically & mentally) a little more.
After all, if you never try you’ll never know…

Wow! I am so proud of you. This is very informative and if I lived in Orlando I would keep this blog as a favorite to keep in touch with new things, places to go. The show Sunday looks great!
Love you and the person you are
