About the author
I’m Renan Gross. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher of mathematics at the University of Cambridge. Before that I was a postdoc at Tel Aviv University. I did my PhD and master’s at the Weizmann Institute, and before that I completed my undergrad in mathematics and physics at the Technion. In my native habitat I can be found playing the piano, writing and performing poetry, and pretending that our coincidental existence has a meaning apart from a statistical fluctuation in the big bang.
About the blog
This blog deals with computers, physics, music, philosophy, mathematics, the environment, and whatever else pops into my head. These are subjects that I ponder upon in my everyday life, so here they are.
Amongst the pieces are serious essays, humoristic and satiric articles, comics, and other creative works. I am in deep gratitude to xkcd, The Onion, Professor Dror Sadeh, and many more people who are too numerous to list, from all of whom I draw much inspiration.
