Accommodation

Zimbabwe can offer the traveller a variety of accommodation options from five star luxury lodges and hotels to city B & B’s and everything in-between.

Being a predominantly safari destination Zimbabwe has many bush lodges and camps dotted around the country.   These vary from permanent lodges and tented camps to up market mobile camps and beautiful camp sites.

Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and Kariba have a variety of hotels, B & B’s, lodges and self catering cottages.  The Department of National Parks provide chalets, lodges, campsites and ‘exclusive camps’ throughout their parks.  Lake Kariba is home to numerous houseboats that cruise the lake mooring in secluded bays and inlets, they sleep anything from 4 to 44 people, and come fully catered or can be hired on a self catering basis.   The Eastern highlands has many small and friendly lodges as well as self catering cottage options and hotels.   Canoe safaris make camp on islands along the Zambezi River as well as in Mana Pools National Park.
