In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup start time problemOK, we will check WP Cron.
But yesterday we had another strange behave. Our archive format is .zip and the file backup yesterday was made as a .tar
All other backups are .zip as in the setting.
Would it be possible that something goes wrong with the change from old version to the new dashboard?
We are currently considering whether to uninstall the plugin and start from scratch. What do you think?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup start time problemP.S.
We’re also a bit confused that the backup is adding the xxx-pluginlist.xxx.txt file to the backup file list, even though we’re only backing up the core files, excluding all plugins. It seems like something has gone wrong. Can we still create backup jobs using the old settings (which worked perfectly but were unfortunately deleted by us)?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup start time problemOur current time zone is Vienna and this is correct.
If we start manually a backup the timestamp is also correct in Backup list.
Yesterday we disabled all scheduled backups only the database backup should run at 23:50 (11:50pm)
It starts at 4:05 and after 1 minute it stopped with the log entry
“Compressing files as a Zip archive. Please wait a moment.”
No more log entry and no end of the backup. I stopped it now at 1 pm a day later.
If I start it manually it doesn’t need more than 100 seconds and runs well.Same with the other backups – manually everything is ok.
With scheduled time start they start on any time but not on the time we have in the setting and than they stop with an error. But run well when we start manually.
Old version worked well. We deleted all legacy backups when we changed to new version.Thank you so much. We will definitely buy the plugin
Thank you so much.
We started the feed now and edit the xml so only 3 products were uploaded for test where we have added our custom field to WooCommerce product page. The product picture works well!
We only have a problem with sales prices. In the feed there is the sales price for example<g:sale_price>108.75</g:sale_price>
In this form Google Merchant center does not import it. It need to be 108.75 EUR
We tried it with default and price output filter but both settings with same result.
We can edit it in xml file but our goal is finaly have API connection to the Merchant Center.
What do we wrong?Thank you so much for your support. It was my fail I was on wrong plugin settings.
I have now installed your plugin (free version for test – if it work I will buy)
Yust one question please
with free version I can generate a product feed for test. what criteria (order) are used to select the products to be included in the feed?
I have the TheGem field as an option but need to fill in some products for test if it really work. But how will I know which products will be in my feed if I can’t set a rule or make a feed for only 1 category?Hi,
unfortunately I was not able to write the idea to a feature request with the provided link but I think that this feature would help not only us to have the product pictures watermarked on the shop pages. More important is for us to have the brand clear in the product picture for our customers because we offer same product from different brands (qualities). Google Merchant does also not allow brand logos on any place on the product picture – it doesn’t matter if it is outside the product area 🙁Where should I get the settings I see on your screenshot?
If I open “Google for WooCommerce” and there Attributes it look like this

We have installed last version 3.1.1Hi,
thank you for your quick answer.
I think best practice would be to upload this picture in a custom field only for google merchant center. Our theme TheGem provides a custom field but we did not use it up to now. But they offer field type, Text, Number or Link so I think this should work.We use free version. Technical support on the link you provided is only for paid version but we can’t use any features from the paid version.
Please listen our problem
our Memory Limit is 512M
But WPstaging Error ist: Used Memory: 285 MB Memory Limit: 256 MB Max Script memory limit: 205 MB
We have uploaded the System Info with “Reasons for getting in Touch” now because all other need license number. Hope you can help neverthelessIn our case best solution would be if we can add 1 picture only for Google Merchant to our product in a smaller dimension.
So we need not to change all product picuteres and meta in all languages for the pictures only add 1 more without watermark to each product.
Hopefully I find a plugin which offers this.Thank you so much. We will try it but we need to generate all images new.We have about 6000-8000 pictures 🙁 at the moment ….
When we started we thought about watermark plugin but decide to save all pictures with included watermark because I thought/think that plugins/codes only shows the pic with a watermark on the page but if you do a look into the code you see path and can load the picture lonely and than you have it without watermark for download. (Are I am right?)
Unfortunately China shit used our product pictures as their own and all the copyright rules are for nothing you can’t stop it this is a fight without end.Yes you did understand correct.
The problem is, that Google Merchant will deaktivate/delete all products with watermarked pictures. So all our shop pictures are now not valid and this is crazy.
I am wondering how all other shop this fix because I think a lot of them will have watermarked pictures in their online shops.
Question
If we would manual replace the product picture in google merchant center will this picture be fixed then? What I mean is if we have changes in the woocomemrce shop for example price, color, availability etc…) will a product update change the picture on the product or does it not touch settings which were made manual in the Google Merchant Center on the product?Thank you. Would be nice to have all function in one plugin.
Unfortunately your recommended plugin does not work with new woocommerce because it is incompatible with WooCommerce feature ‘High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)’ and there was no update in the last 9 months 🙁
