After half an hour (from what I’ve stumbled into it) of problems, suddenly everything is back working again now!
I did absolutely nothing at all…!!!
I guess it was some network outage of some kind, unrelated to my installation.
I had the same problem, using the Iubenda plugin for cookie policy. The issue is not strictly related to Iubenda, but to EU GDPR law. Basically you can’t start tracing users, unless they approve it. So Iubenda disables Meta Pixel unless you already approved the cookie settings.
I had problems anyway, even after approving. In the end, i fixed the situation with a setting in Iubenda plugin configurations: click on “Privacy Controls and Cookie Solution”, then activate the setting that says (in italian): “Lascia gli script intatti sulla pagina se l’utente ha già prestato il consenso” (which translates to “Leave the scripts untouched if the user has already approved the policy…”).
This fixed the problem for me.
