In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cart-layout: how to move/insert cross-sell and upsellhow I can re-insert the cross-sell and up-sell block in the cart layout once they are deleted and
To re-insert the cross-sell block, navigate to the ‘Blocks’ menu in the Gutenberg editor. There, you will find the Cart Cross Sells blocks. Click on it to add it to your cart layout. Here’s a short video for explanation.
Thats nice and there is indeed a Cross Sell Block. But I can’t find an Up-Sell Block.
how I can modify the column-structure of the cart block, e.g. switch to full width?
For modifying the column structure, you would need to use the ‘Columns’ block. Add this block to your layout and adjust the settings to your preference. To switch to full width, you need to click on the block and then find the settings on the right-hand side of your block editor to choose the correct settings of your choice. You can find more details from this guide.
That does not work for me. Inserting a Column is no problem but it is impossible to move the cart in there. it can be above or below the column but not in the column. I can also not move the Carts Totals Block except with the up- and down arrows. It certainly stays within the Cart block with the unwanted Column structure.
Also I wonder how to make the Cart Line Items-block simpler (just 2-3 lines per product )
To make the Cart Line Items block simpler, you can use the block settings on the right to select the number of products to show. In most cases, some of the cart blocks are blocked to avoid changes using the block editor, thus, changes can only be achieved with the help of a custom code snippet. You can read more on locked blocks here. More details on customizing the cart block can be foundhere.
There are no settings on the right for the Cart Line Items. There are just the Block & Page tabs and the Block tab shows the Blocks name, than a section in grey asking for user feedback and below the advanced settings.
in addition I liked the cart to use the width available on the screen, so reduce the side margins.
In mos cases, the cart uses the width available of the screen, however, you can adjust the ‘Width’ further with the help of custom CSS code. Please note that customization requests are out of our support scope.
You can find more details on customizing your cart from the following guides:

I hope this helps.

In reply to: [WP Testimonials] Background color inside Testimonialsno, sorry , that’s not what I mean. I like to change the color of the “speech balloons” which are each an element of the testimonial slider.

In reply to: Pages not listed anymore in backendGreat-I figured out that the Polylang plugin caused this issue.
As I don’t need it for the moment, I have just switched it off.
Many thanks for your support!- This reply was modified 1 year, 8 months ago by ulf01.

In reply to: Pages not listed anymore in backendThank you! Health Check Troubleshooting mode causes the problem to disappear – without deactivating any plugin. As soon as I Disable Troubleshooting Mode the problem is back again.
This is solved. There has been an error in the php snippet

In reply to: User Profile: Gravatar wont workI think I am running into trouble within WordPress. The Gravatar account has been established with the same email address and seems to work nicely. However, there is no change on the WordPress-side. So, the old image is still there in WordPress.

In reply to: [WP Testimonials] Deactivate Dates in WP Testimonials?Excellent – works nicely. Thank you!
This has been as shown yesterday but now it appears to work nicely without having changed anything. See website tt.financial .
Thank you for your assistance! Indeed the shortcode was wrongly pointing to the (old) classic type which had not been maintained. So, that problem is solved. However, the new Ditty short code creates a mess on the screen, not a smooth ticker. This is a sceenshot: https://imgur.com/a/dBKx7Dm
This is with OS x Safari, Firefox and iOS Safari
Any ideas?
Many thanks for all your efforts. The (legacy) ticker is added with a shortcode: [ditty_news_ticker id=”452″]
This morning I started the page and the ticker didn’t work. Nothing has been changed! Then I logged into WP and loaded the page and it didn’t work. Then I re-loaded the page and the ticker worked. I logged out of WP and it worked. I started a Safari Private Window, loaded the page and the ticker worked. I started Firefox and the ticker worked.
So, it seems like this is kind of unreliable in some way…

I have now deleted W3 cache. For the moment, Ditty is still not visible unless I am logged in.
