I’m getting the same message. People are filling in those two fields and then getting that message.

In reply to: [Astra] Critical Error when trying to customiseI was getting the same error. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, including WP, and all was fine until I installed Astra. Then even after uninstalled, I kept getting the critical error message when trying to customize. I spent two entire days trying to figure it out, and finally had to install another theme, although I wanted Astra. After this latest WP update and Astra update, I hope the problem is resolved so I can use Astra.

I think that donors are more likely to choose a lower custom amount than they might have planned on if that amount falls between two levels, so I’d like not to have to suggest levels at all, and just make Custom the default. We detail the rewards they get for each donation level on that same page, so if they want the 12 free tickets and backstage tour, and they have $3,000 to give, they can input that instead of taking the easy way out and clicking the $2,500 button. There are 5 total tiers.

Also, I meant it disables the *entire* plugin page for all plugins–the core WordPress pages All Plugins, Add New Plugin, etc. It is necessary to go in through the server to disable either Caldera or Sucuri in order to access that page again. If I can trigger it again, I will.
It is dealing with the plugin page in the back end. Attempting to load it or click on anything if it’s already loaded triggers this. Coming into it from Plugins or Add New does the same thing.
And I do remember the days when something like this would result in the website being disabled, back in 2005 or even 2008. I’m thankful it is now a really rare happening, instead just failing to execute and returning error messages.

A little more info: it’s actually forcing everything to the Membership Levels page, even the Membership Account page.

If anyone has an existing site and switched it, how tough is the process of protecting your old posts that were protected by Your Members? I’m thinking of switching to Premise or Paid Memberships Pro, but I need teaser content unprotected with the rest of the content protected on two categories of my site.

In reply to: [Wp-Insert] Conflict with JetpackUnfortunately I can’t. Wp-Insert is the only thing breaking, and it’s a multi-author site with every plugin giving a unique function. I couldn’t find another plugin to do the ad placement exactly where it is. Although I don’t own the site, I’m the only tech person, and the site is set up to do a lot of things automatically that most companies would have had to do angel funding to hire enough people to watch (the site is not yet self-supporting).

If you’re using Genesis Simple Hooks, you can at least get ads placed where they need to be. If you need the additional functionality of wp-Insert, I’m not sure if it works or not. You may be up a creek.
