In reply to: [MinimalistBlogger] regret choosing this themeHooray, I’m happy we manage to find a solution @abzu2 🙂
I hope you’d consider rewriting your review as the issue is that we don’t get notifications on new support topics, so we had no idea you wrote them. You’re always welcome to write to us at support@[domainname].com (We’re not allowed to write our emails here, but I think that would be ok)
I hope you’ve had lovely weekend and have a great week ahead of you

In reply to: [MinimalistBlogger] regret choosing this themeHi @abzu2 is the goal to remove comments from all posts on your site?
If that’s the goal then I’d advice you to use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-comments/
It’s free and a super nice plugin that doesn’t increase load time on your site

In reply to: [MinimalistBlogger] regret choosing this themeHi @abzu2 you’re looking in the wrong place
You should look under “Appearance” and “Tools“
There’s also a more in-depth guide that shows other ways to edit theme files here: https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/how-to-view-and-edit-wordpress-theme-files/

In reply to: [MinimalistBlogger] regret choosing this themeHi @abzu2
If you go to the contact page and scroll down, then you’ll see the link shown in this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/g9Tu01vYou can’t use Minimalistblogger as a child theme, but you can use a child theme ontop of Minimalistblogger.
If you’re doing that then you’ll have to select Minimalistblogger at the Theme Editor to edit the HTML files.
You cannot edit HTML files in a child theme, only the style.css file, so if you’re just seeing that plus a few files then you’re most likely editing the files in the wrong theme

In reply to: [MinimalistBlogger] regret choosing this themeHi there, you can click “continue without logging in” in the bottom if you do not have premium support to continue.
It’s a purple link in the bottom of the files. It does allow HTML editing unless your hosting are doing something weird or you’re trying to edit the wrong theme (could be that you’re trying to edit a child theme which doesn’t have HTML files, instead of the parent theme)

All customer support happens through our ticket system as written on the theme page.

Hiding sidebar on specific pages is available in the premium version.
You can edit the theme files in any version, simply go to Tools -> Edit Files or Appearance -> Edit Files (depending on where your website is hosted).
Some hosts also completely disable the opportunity to edit files, where you have to contact them to get it unlocked

In reply to: [Fluid Basics] Child theme update?Hi Annekee, updating is not necessary.
You only have to worry about the files if you’ve made direct code changes, if not then you have nothing to worry about.
Remember always to take a backup of your website before updating themes/plugins

In reply to: [Draftly] How disable featured image on select posts?Hi @andrebell82 I hope you’re having a lovely weekend!
I haven’t ever heard of this before, it most of all sounds like your changes made to the posts aren’t being saved.
If you remove it, click save and then refresh the page is the image then still there?
If that’s the case then it’s most likely a plugin that’s causing you bugs, try disabling them for a minute while you do it, to see if that solves it 🙂
Hope it works, otherwise ping me in this thread with what you’ve tried to fix it, then I’ll brainstorm with you!

In reply to: [Blogrid] menu does not work in mobile modeHi, you can test the menu on a fresh installation here: https://wp-themes.com/blogrid/
The menu works fine in the theme, so it’s most likely one of your plugins that bugs it. Could be an incorrect setup of a page speed / caching plugin
Hi @polinet can I please ask you to reach out to us here? https://superbthemes.com/customer-support/
Then we’ll get back to you asap
