Hi @wfscott !
I’ve send the report. The issue is now spreading to more of my sites… All on the same server. I hope you can figure out what is happening…
Thanks!
David
This is what my hosting answered btw:
It looks like the value that is appended to the search; when used within AWsearch – adds a “post_type=product” field to the search; and since it can’t find values for values that don’t exist; it feeds the 502 – using the default search string, example: https://dee-aa.nl/?s=testproduct&id=16734
Maybe this helps?
Hi!
I’ve the exact same issue! The normal theme search function works fine, but Advanced Woo Search returns a 502 when the Advanced Woo Search doesn’t find any products.
I went through everything with my hosting (WPengine) and the agree: it’s an issue in the plugin, not the theme nor other plugins. So: what now? Because I love the plugin, but it doesn’t work properly.
Hope to hear from you!
David
Ok, thanks for your respons!
Do you maybe know any third party plugins that could help in this situation?
Hi!
Had same issue. Downgrade Woocommerce, that worked for me! I even downgraded it to 2.4.4.
It’s not the best solution, but it works.

Sorry for keeping you waiting! I was busy this weekend..
I don’t have a testing environment, but I’m willing to test the plugin for you if you haven’t already done that.
BUT: I don’t have experience with the files you provide through github. Is there a way to at those files to the existing version of the plugin on my clients site so I can test it there?

Great that you found the problem! And even more awesome that you’re working on it.
My client wants this page up and running this week. Do you have a temporary fix for me? Or is an update coming out these couple of days?

I updated the plugin, but still having the same issue…
My client is getting impatient, so I hope you have a fix for my problem!
David
EDIT: i just noticed the visual composer integration! Awesome. I’m trying this right now, maybe this fixes my problem.
EDIT: nope, even with the visual composer version of the plugin the signup forms still subscribe to the last form on the page.
