In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] Insecure content won't just goGood day Ross.
Thank you for your response and your candid advise.
1. Since Capture is used on only the checkout page (the only page that is SSL encryted), will the more memory used by capture affect my overall website speed or only the speed of the checkout page?
2. I will also attempt the best fix
3. While I have not adopted the simplest fix for all by setting my whole website to https: is that I felt it might somewhat slow that my website

In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] Insecure content won't just goHello Ross,
A big thank you for your patience and excellent support.
I will do as you advised and also notify the plugin author to fix rogue otwbm/skins/custom.css linkI noticed that the issue has been largely resolved after you set the fixer to “Capture”, as the green padlock is now showing before https in the checkout page.
Earlier, I was hesitating to set the fixer to “Capture” because this setting has the most impact on memory usage and biggest potential to break things.

Stardrive.

I used insecure content fixer plugin and the issue is still there. I will discuss with the plugin author.
I really appreciate your excellent support and good customer care. I look forward to the time in future when you will include an option in your plugin to enable only one or more pages for SSL encryption. I prefer your plugin and I want to activate it as quickly as possible.
Thank you so much

Thank you so much.
I did that and SSL Encryption is now forced on only the checkout page. The rest pages are http based.
The only issue now is that the green padlock is not showing besides https:// in the checkout page, even after using the Insecure content fixer plugin.
Please, could you be so kind to advise me on what to do?
NB: When I used your plugin earlier and all the pages were SSL encrypted, the green padlock was showing besides https:// in all pages.
Sorry for the late response.
Please, I have done as you advised.
SSL Encryption is still forced on all the pages.
But, I want SSL Encryption to be forced only on the checkout page.
My settings for your plugin as as follows:
1. Stop editing the .htaccess file: CHECKED
2. Auto replace mixed content: CHECKED
3. Enable javascript redirection to ssl: UNCHECKED
4. Turn HTTP Strict Transport Security on: CHECKBOX DISABLED (You have to enable htaccess editing to use this option)
5. Debug: UNCHECKEDThank you.
Sorry for the late response.
Please, I have done as you advised.
SSL Encryption is still forced on all the pages.
But, I want SSL Encryption to be forced only on the checkout page.
Thank you.
Please, I have done as you advised.
SSL Encryption is now excluded from all the pages, including the checkout page.
But, I want SSL Encryption to be forced on the checkout page.
Please, is there any further assistance you can render?
Thank you.
Thank you so much for your patience, excellent support, and good customer care.
I will try it and revert back.
Thank you so much for you kind assistance.
Please, after deactivating Really Simple SSL, and then copying the htaccess rules back to my .htaccess, should I activate the plugin back?
After that, should I have to manually change my homeurl and siteurl from https to http?
Please, I followed the steps in the article: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/disabling-ssl-for-one-page-only/
Then, in step 2, I inserted the following line:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/http://mydomain/checkout/right after the line below:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on [NC]in .htaccess file.
By following the above steps, I expected SSL Encryption to be forced on only one the checkout page and to be excluded from all the rest pages. But, this is not so. SSL encryption is still forced on all the pages.
Please, assist
Thank you so much.
I will try it and revert back

Thank you for your kind response.
I am actually asking for how to force SSL Encryption for only one page; and not how to exclude SSL Encryption for only one page.
The article you are referring to is the opposite of what i want.
