We can no longer drag and drop to reorder. I tested back on WP v 5.8.2 and didn’t have any issues but recently updated our site to 5.9 and the functionality stopped working. Essentially what happens is that when you click an item to start dragging it, the outline that used to appear to show where you can drag to shows up but then just sticks – you then can’t click any other items nor can you move them on the list.

I’ve gone through your troubleshooting steps and the issue stems from the Yoast plugin. In troubleshooting mode of the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, I’ve disabled all plugins on my site and reverted to the standard Twenty Twenty theme. With everything disabled, the issue does not occur. As soon as I enable Yoast SEO and Yoast SEO Premium, the issue occurs and throws the same error:
