In reply to: [Custom Comment Notifications] Email post author comment notification?I’ll have to refresh my memory (sorry been pulled off on some non-WP work lately), but I believe that is the default case for the Author comment template. As long as you do not put any additional emails in the “Additional Email” box, then it will only send the email to the Post Author. The Moderator email will also be sent as long as the WP settings are set appropriately.

Post Category will be a little tough because a post can have multiple categories and it would probably be improbable to list all the categories. And if a post does have multiple categories with conflicting templates, I wouldn’t know which template to use.
Post type should be possible. I’ll need to look into it and unfortunately am a little strapped on time at the moment.
These variables have been added. This is part of version 1.0.7

You can now protect the Comment Author’s information in both the Moderator notifications as well as the Author Notifications. This feature was built into the Author Notifications, and is now enabled in the Moderator Emails.
