Hi guys – first thank you for your replies. Your suggestions are noted, but there seems to be NO WAY to speak to a live person at WordPress.com. Their own documentation doesn’t work, because there is no “DNS Records” button the the domains page (as they say there should be).
I have already registered my domain at wordpress.org, signed up for hosting with Bluehost, asked for WordPress to be installed, answered the bank of clarifying questions asked and told to sit back and wait for everything to be installed. So far so good – but when I go to my domain (rtfmaero.com) I am greeted with a screen that says “This domain is parked – go to wordpress.com to manage it.
Yeah, right.
So I go to “Hosting”, again, log in and go to “Domains”. There I see my domain but it is listed as “Locked”. And there doesn’t seem to be any way to unlock it.
