Well, I was searching for that option in your configuration screen, and at the bottom, I saw your optimize database feature.
This did the trick,
I was optimizing with my phpmyadmin which did not work.

If so you could then install the wordpress in the root. and point site2 there.

In reply to: .htaccess fileGo to cpanel and in the FILES area click on webdisk, and follow the instructions
This will enable your file browser at home to see your files on server
Open up the VIEW tab on your file browser and find SHOW HIDDEN and tick that
