Apparently they just removed the title attribute if it’s the same text as the link text

This Review is very misleading – the plugin does not remove any code.
Yeah, it’s not a big deal for me actually (right now, I just wanted to let you know) because I don’t need the single quotes in GA, so i just replaced them with nothing, works for me right now 🙂
