    Hey,

Sorry for the delay and thanks for reaching out and reporting the issue.

Unfortunately, currently, there has been no support added for Polylang, we’d need to check why isn’t it working in this case. We can look into this but it might take some time, sorry!

Meanwhile, could you please send a link to the example of a link that is not working?

    Thank you!

    M.

    Hey,

Note that this plugin can be used with existing text widgets but it does not add a separate custom widget.

The screenshot is taken using the plugin with the most common existing Text widget.

The location where the widget is shown on your site depends on the Theme — this plugin has no control over where any widget is displayed.

For example, if you add a Text widget to the sidebar, then it will be displayed in the sidebar, if to the footer, then in the footer — the available places where a widget can be used depends on the Theme you’re using on your site.

    What you can do:
    1. Go to the Widgets page (yoursite.com/wp-admin/widgets.php)
    1. Choose the default Text widget and move it to the area provided by the Theme (e.g. Footer)
    2. Add the Automatic copyright text inside.

Let me know if that makes it more clear.

    Thanks!

Hi, thanks for trying out the plugin.

Could you please check the instructions under https://wordpress.org/plugins/automatic-copyright-year/, specifically under Details tab (see also the screenshot for how to use it) and then under Installation (point 3 on how to use it).

Based on these, could you let me know which part of the information seems to be still missing, would be helpful to improve the documentation.

    Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. Note that the plugin is taking the date automatically from the server — perhaps the time in the server was still 2019 at the time when you wrote the topic (it was still 2019 in many countries at that time).

Can you check if it’s displaying as expected now? If not, can you share the link to the site?

    Hey,

Correct, running EC2 and wanted to use IAM roles.

Thank you for the quick answer, will look for an alternative solution for now.

    Hey,

The warning that is currently in your website:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/ucicsonora/public_html/ucic/wp-includes/functions.php:1) in /home/ucicsonora/public_html/ucic/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1173
One option: this happens for example when you have a whitespace or an empty line before or after php tags. WordPress files must start with <?php and end with ?>. No blank lines or whitespaces are allowed before the start tag nor after the ending tag. Check your wp-config.php and functions.php (and other theme) files for this.

You can also try if the problem remains with a default WP theme (google for changing theme manually since you can’t access the admin page, e.g. this page).

    M.

Does it happen with a WP default theme as well? Since you can’t change it from the admin page, you would have to change it manually for trying.

    Here’s a guide for that
Here’s a support topic on that

Before you do that, you could make a copy of the existing options (or DB) just in case if you already didn’t before the upgrade.
