We are on the latest version of the plug-in. We use Elementor Pro on this site. The email addresses were added using the Elementor text widget with a mailto link wrapped around.

I cannot send the link or screeshot from the customers page since it is not to be shared and a screenshot shows the affected mail addresses. I could not reproduce it with some random mail address and it only seems to affect specific mail addresses on a specific position on the page. If I add the affected mail addresses again (not by copy and paste, but just by typing) somewhere else on the page, sometimes the special chars are added, sometimes not. I don’t know how to reproduce it 100%.

When it occurs, the issue stays with these mail addresses even after refreshing the page. It does not “move around” and affects other mail addresses when refreshing the page.

If there is a secure way to send the link and screenshot, I’m happy to!
