Hello Mike,
Sorry, there has been quite a lot going on here, which is why I haven’t been able to work on the plugin sooner.
You have since released version 4.2. Are you willing to explain how I can change the logo and URL for this version as well? Thanks in advance.
MarkHello Michael,
I haven’t gotten around to it yet, but I will continue working on it in the coming days and then I’ll see if I can get it done.
Regards,
MarkHi Mike,
Thanks for the quick and clear explanation.
I’m currently using version 4.1.6 on a live site for a foundation, so stability is important and I won’t be using the beta at this stage.
Given that the current filters are ‘broken’, is there any recommended workaround for overriding:
• the email logo (CID)
• the PDF logo
• the email header link
Even if it involves a temporary or low-level approach (e.g. specific function/class override), that would already help a lot. If not, I’ll go ahead with a hardcoded adjustment and disable updates for now.The add-on sounds very reasonable by the way, I’d definitely be interested in that in the future when there’s more time available.
Thanks again for your help.
Best regards,
MarkusHello Mike,
Thanks for your reply, and it is good to hear about the future plans for your plugin.
It would be deeply disappointing if we were to choose to use your plugin now and, after a while, be faced with costs that are too high for us, forcing us to switch to another plugin. Fortunately, this will not be the case if we continue using the free version, and that is very good news!We wish you all the best.
Regards,
Mark

In reply to: [Dynamic XML Sitemaps Generator for Google] hreflang WPML`Hello,
I think I misrepresented my question. WPML says:
“To improve SEO and avoid duplicate hreflang data, WPML now adds hreflang tags only to your sitemap. We have disabled the hreflang tags in your page’s <head> section.
If you prefer to keep them in the <head>, you can re-enable this option in WPML → Languages → SEO Options.”When using an alternative to Yoast sitemaps, such as your plugin, this means that no hreflang at all is placed by default; not on pages, not in sitemaps.
However, I’ve enabled the option to place the hreflang in de head of the pages again, and that works, so I no longer have this problem. If, as you wrote, Google doesn’t require placing the hreflang in sitemaps, then I don’t understand why WPML is doing this. But it could be a problem if the hreflang is added to the pages head AND the sitemaps. Maybe that was the case with Yoast.
Anyway, I use your plugin with sitemaps for every language/domain and with WooCommerce, with hreflang in the head of the pages, and it works perfectly.
Thanks for the reply and the effort.
Markus

In reply to: [Multiple Galleries] Does not work with 3.1.2The 0.4.1 version doesn’t work anymore with WordPress 3.2.1.
With editor in text mode: No checkboxes, no ‘Show’ and no thumbnails of the images.
With editor in HTML mode: No checkboxes only.I can not find other plugins that cause this problem. Could it be version 1.6.3 of jQuery causing this problem?
Same problem here.
I use jQuery 1.4.4. Could that be the problem?
